Hi I live in Colts Neck Nj. I have HTC evo original and after hurricane sandy my phone no longer has 3g in Colts neck. The only network it connect to is 1x and it loses it every few seconds.Power has been restored pretty much everywhere around our town does anyone know what could be the issue? Is there a way to report this to Sprint?

How explicit they have to be? No throttling means no throttling -

Also he is receiving weird Test text messages from ATT after his phone calls to ATT this morning which he has no clue why ATT is sending them. -

He has contacted ATT and told them customer services supervisor lied. He is also planning on contacting Huffington post. -
My coworker just received text from ATT they will be throtlling his account as he is above 3gb. He is obviously not happy and checked logs there was 500mb+ usuage at midnight which he has no clue how that happened. Anyways he wants to move his 4 lines to Sprint and ATT escalated the matter to supervisor. Here it gets interesting..supervisor told my coworker Read fine line at Sprint.."They also throttle after 5GB". wow did not know ATT would resort to lying to keep customers.

http://money.cnn.com/2012/06/28/technology/vodafone-philipp-humm-tmobile/index.htm last para..i will try to find another article that mentioned interest in Sprint/Metropcs

This is not old news...read any article about Tmobile CEO leaving and they are mentioning Tmobile is looking for merger.
-
Rumors on street Tmobile is looking to buy or merge with Sprint. I think buy is out of question unless i am missing something... How will the merger work if it happens..with Tmobile and sprint operating different kind of networks(remember Nextel)? how does it help them?? Anyone here know what spectrum Tmobile owns??? also tmobile plans to sell its towers for 2billion..i think that can help the merged carriers with consolidation and cash infusion.. i think these are just rumors..but i am curious about possibilities... does it work to Sprints advantage to merge with Tmobile or kill them by competing?? I heard last time these two companies talked about merger it fell apart on questions about who will lead. How can possibly Tmobile dream about leading the merged companies???

Good to know there is someone else who shares my view. I say why even bother with making phone big..how about giving customer option to buy Wimax case(similar to Freedompop case for iphone) in areas where there is coverage. Why take so much bad publicty for releasing 4G phone without having network from media when they have invested so much money in WIMAX and having working 4G network in 71 cities??????
-
it can always be something like freedompop style phone case with wimax given to customers that are located in wimax coverage zone with expectation coverage will stop in 2015 or when LTE comes to city whichever case comes up first. This way Sprint does not get bad rap of launching LTE phones without any network in place. Like it or not Wimax is 4g tech. Sprint could have also prioritized places without any wimax at the moment for lte deployment with this strategy.
