I don't know how soon is soon. I haven't seen any permits for back haul. It seems the same thing has happened in the San Bernardino/Riverside market. 3 months of 3G upgrades and then finally the 1st 4G site went live. We are just now getting to the end of 3 months since the first full build site was accepted in Vegas, but I still don't see any wide scale deployment of back haul. It's so odd. And there are between 15-20 different fiber carriers that run hubs thru Vegas, with Cox and Century Link being the main carriers thru the valley.

i work retail and there a sprint rep that comes in she 1st said mid june and then came in and said early may but what i find odd is sprint has not put out the list where vegas is listed on there website as coming soon. i wonder when they are going to make the announcement.

Let's hope they flip the switch sooner they we think.

i think it soon my i phone 5 is slow right now i can even get to the google page i think have drop about 7 calls in 2 day which is not normal also i check the speed and slow maybe they are working on it as we speak.

The Sprint site at Boulder Highway just north-west of Nellis was approved by the Clark County Building commission yesterday. Is anyone near there that can take pictures and post them here? It's right next to the Long John Silvers on the west side of Boulder.

Do you know the cross streets I might be able to take a few pics also any updates on when they will turn on the LTE lol I think I check this site 2 times a day.

Imagine having to live with this unbelievably bad 3G day after day in Vegas, when you have an LTE capable phone just waiting for that LTE to kick in. I see this other post that says it should start kicking in by Spring. We shall see. I can imagine when these lucky people, you know those from Podunk USA population 25 that already have LTE come to Vegas on vacation and find they are stuck on really slow 3G. So much for uploading and sharing those photos quickly LOL. Well here's hoping MacinJosh is correct, that would be a good thing.

yes i went LA for a weekend and LTE was fast out there came back home to vegas 3g has to be slowest thing in the world i cant even watch and 10 sec espn video becuase it never plays im sure hope spring is right as well.

Thanks for all the info i hope its before june. I will post screen shot as soon as i get 4G LTE signal and will also do the feild test. I had a feeling they were working on something becuase the sprint towers were down form dec 9th until jan 4. text messgaes wouldnt send also i wasnt able to get incoming calls i got 14 voice mall all at once on jan 4.

I wanted to know if they started working on 4g lte here in Las Vegas and if so how long until sprint make it official on there site.I was told january then i was told mid june if anybody has any info i would like to know thanks
