Wifi calling does work, but if the other party is on sprint obviously they need to be on it as well.

I called a land line for testing

I'm testing the WiFi calling on my mother in laws G3 . it takes forever to call more than 30 sec to dial then failed to connect

With the new update . the skin doesn't crash anymore

I was in rockford about month and half ago. I saw them testing the second carrier then, it was only on a handful of sites. They were using 41776 channel(same as they used in kansas, during the world series for the second carrier/channel)

I'm in Rockford right now(10AM Harrison st and Mulford Rd) less than 2 miles from the mall. LTE 41 is between -108, and -112 outside .speed test wasn't bad 26/27 for download and less than 2 for upload .as soon u get inside the building that's another story lol

My nexus 5 didn't pass the Illinois extreme weather test LOL..I left my phone in the car last night and the phone refused to start until on top the heat vent

I think they updated the tower on 64,and peace Rd to B41.I think I was connected to that one last week,not the one near the oasis on 88

Today my phone kept connecting for the 1st time to a weak b41 band at my house. Is this the an error from signal check,or the one close to the DeKalb oasis? I'm close to 1st street and Bethany rd.

lte in baltimore county very bad and sometimes no lte with bad 3g legacy towers still this market one the biggest gaps with no lte around . middle river md no lte .

I just recently took the plunge and purchased an N6 as well. Received it yesterday and can confirm I'm having the same issues w/ LTE. Moving from an N5 w/ lollipop, messenger sent text messages over LTE almost instantaneously. Now, I'm lucky if the text goes thru in 30 seconds and I had two text messages fail yesterday. Keep in mind, I'm lucky enough to have my towers broadcasting Sprint B25,41,26 and have been for several months. Definitely not a tower issue. I tried a PRL / profile update as well to no avail.

 

As an aside, this phone is huge. I'm really starting to enjoy it though the more I use it. The screen is beautiful.

Maybe 5.0.1 will fix it?

 

EDIT: Also, what the heck are you guys using for car mounts now? I used to use this mount for the N5 and loved it. I'm having a hard time even fitting it in my cup holders...

I have no luck with dash mount . I use CD slot mount (I didn't use the CD player in years )

The only app got effected by lollipop on my phone was "Here" maps by Nokia

I posted about this tower about a month ago somewhere around this forum. It was one tower that stretched about 15 miles. Nearly from the Dekalb oasis to almost Rochelle. It was fantastic.
