  1. All things considered, I think this is a win-win in most locations. B26 would require equipment upgrades to deploy and in most locations, TMO already has enough low-band between B71 and B12 to maintain "adequate" service. In any non-super rural area, thanks to the roll out of SA, low-band is much less of an issue and they will have sufficient mid-band capacity to enable good-to-great service.
  2. They are moving quite fast, all three equipment boxes were already installed and the trunk of the "tree" was fully installed as well. By the way, I noticed Dish was installing today on the tower over by Cedar Park Elementary school in Bothell. The same one that T-Mobile already converted from Sprint but has still not activated yet (not the one closer to I-405 which has Verizon/AT&T)
  3. Just noticed also that B2 has shrunk from 20MHz down to 15MHz (and as a result moved down to EARFCNs 18975/975 . I am guessing that n25 will be expanding to the full 20MHz shortly.
  4. That's been happening in force around me recently, as well. A few sites are unfortunate because they provide some needed in-fill but oh well.
  5. I wonder if it has anything to do with the roll out of VoNR which has just started.
  6. Someone over on Reddit mentioned it was working in Atlanta as well. Would be interesting to see where else it is already live.
  7. VoNR looks to be live in the metro Seattle area and multiple other cities across the US.
  8. Interesting, it appears to be working on my S22U. I just band locked my phone to NR and was able to make a call. Previously, the call would immediately fail. TNot sure how else to test it, there is no switch that I can see or entry otherwise to view VoNR. Edit: Yep it works!
  9. Found the permit for it! Looks like it will be Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T at minimum on the tower. The bottom rack is described as "future antennas by others", which makes me think Dish will be on there as well.
  10. The tower is located here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/47°40'10.7"N+122°06'19.8"W/@47.6696389,-122.1055,564m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d47.6696389!4d-122.1055 Sorry, wasn't able to snap any pics. Every time I stopped at that light (I tried thrice), a big box truck pulled up next to me obscuring the view.
  11. Massive new tower at the 520/202 interchange in Redmond. Looked like Nokia equipment on the ground but I couldn't see all the RRUs.

If it's like the S22, eSIM can ONLY be used in SIM2.
  13. Does anyone know why T-Mobile only ever uses 3x Nokia AEHCs on a site (even for sites with more than 3 sectors)? I haven't found a single site that has four or more AEHC on it. They sometimes include sector IDs (like 304) which indicate higher but if you look, they just skipped one of the sector IDs. Additionally, they don't seem to have this limitation in Ericsson markets, which makes me think it is something about the Nokia equipment.
  14. I would say just give it time. Initially on Android, it was really really random if you didn't have a phone that could band lock. Overtime, as TMO debugged things, the phones started preferring SA.
  15. This one actually helps T-Mobile a lot because it should allow them to aggregate their disparate mmWave bands.
  16. Apparently the outage is device specific. Even on the same account, one device will work and another won't.
  17. T-Mobile totally down in my area. Checking out IsItDown, seems like might be nationwide. Edit: Yep it's a nationwide outage.
  18. Try manually giving it precise location permission. I had a similar symptoms when I got my S22U and accidentally clicked deny for location permission
  19. Thanks for the heads up, just downloaded and installed it!
  20. Whelp that demo is back on via a new BNR permit: https://permitsearch.mybuildingpermit.com/PermitDetails/BNR23-00409/Kirkland So much for them improving signal in that area. Only hope is the permit for the Kirkland Urban site. Hopefully you will find something via your digging. On an unrelated note, they finally started upgrading the site just off I405 by Kingsgate Park. Monday had all the antennas stripped off by yesterday they had the antennas mounted. This morning, I noticed it was broadcasting B66 again, will check later if it is fully live.
