  1. Woah, that should come with an epilepsy warning! That was intense! May I ask what exactly is happening, or what is causing all this ruckus? I assume that is a security alarm possibly? Regardless that thing was wicked.
  2. There are tons of these in many markets, I have seen about 10 just around the city I live, all different carriers. They sometimes take a few moments to actually notice what they are, which points to them working as a camouflage if you will, very well.
  3. I was back to good around 9 or 10pm. Even grabbed some wimax through Conway.
  4. My device has been cycling through 1xrtt, then roaming, then back. No data, tried AP mode, same. Turned it off to charge, glad I am not the only one. In Myrtle Beach, SC.
  5. I was actually about to ask this same question. I'm kind of looking for something along the lines you describe as well. Just curious where to start looking. My area does not offer a lot in the way of training options, so any input on where to start would be great!
  6. From what I see here, just band 25 is included. Thanks TS for the link. https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=2063524
  7. http://i.imgur.com/tCfFQ3f.jpg That's me and my baby after we took some sweet tower shots. Had to celebrate.
  8. Thanks for the informative contributions you make to the discussion. It is always intriguing to hear from the folks that have a great understanding of how all this mobile telephony works. Plus your posts always seem to be about finding a solution to the issue, and the factors that make it so. Hearing about the means to the end, while interesting, is also informative and you make a point easily understandable. In turn not as intimidating for some, and thus leads one to want to learn more. Neat.
  9. I would like to try the Playstation 4 as well. I have always enjoyed owning the 2, it is was quite a beast, still have one of the originals as well. I have a pc so I have enough microsoft I suppose. my neighbor has a PS3 which is primarily used for tiger woods and god of war and we run that thing for days on end. So I skipped the 3 as a result and saved for my own build. 2 things I guess, one of the perils of being the first ones to a new platform, the other being accessibility, how many folks who pre order get to test them out, say at game stop or the like? The noise is a killer though on those fans, but I always have my stereo going anyways. :music:
  10. My wife traded in her photon for one last week, it is an awesome phone. The best buy store at the mall had it of all places, got it for 149 after trade-in. w agreement.
  11. ok sweet, and thanks again for all the great work. I actually just updated mine there and here, to be safe here is the receipt numbers. 2756-8714-3162-7088, 5605-9704-8344-8850, 5605-9704-8344-8850. This site has honestly opened my eyes about this technology and an interest I was unaware I had, and am looking into exploring professionally. This is just awesome.
  12. I would laugh my ass off if they dropped off a couple tons of Nextel waste at the parking lot of Dish HQ, pull a sweet gangster move. "Here is your network, buddy.".
  13. Sometimes it is fun to pretend the internet is a stripper to throw money at.
  14. I am having trouble locating the tower on 76th Ave N. I am guessing it is an antenna on top of one of the hotels beachside, While in the area I have gotten up to 2 mbps down a couple of times, and this was last fall, I imagine this was before work started, though, and I most likely am connected to the tower at 55 north, which I believe is also on top of one of the hotels(Ocean Forest Plaza maybe), as I live just a bit south of there. I am really excited about these as well! One thing I have noticed is that tower *, seems to have dropped off of the sprint version of the tower maps, I am pretty sure it is on top of the water tower @38th north and Little river neck, as it is ringed in what are obviously cell panels, but I never seem to get better connectivity as I approach this one, not really sure what that is about, just curious I suppose. Thanks again for all the great work you guys have been doing keeping us updated as well. This is great stuff and if I have any better fortune locating these towers I will keep trying to get any new info and share as well.
