  4. IOS 6 beta 1 It is very functional and runs smoothly on my iPhone 4S. Some things like 3D maps and passbook do not work but for being the first beta it runs very smoothly!!

  8. I was wondering when Chicago market would be launched and have LTE up and running. I am heading to Chicago June 28th to July 2nd and really want to try out LTE!!!
  9. I am ready for upgrade on the 1st of every year Got my iPhone 4S for Sprint on release day and was ready for upgrade again in January Now I got the Galaxy Nexus and ready for upgrade January 1, 2013 This is how it has been since opening my Sprint account years ago
  10. I just got back from a trip in Houston, Texas. During this trip I noticed amazing signal almost every where I went. I usually had 4-5 bars on my Galaxy Nexus inside buildings and outside which is pretty good. Speeds usually were about .5-.7 Mbps on 3G. Sadly I was unable to connect to 4G LTE during my trip even though I was near several sites that are reported as on according to the interactive maps. Dumb Sprint blocking us early adapters from using LTE. In late June and early July I am heading to Chicago and will due a similar report after getting back home.
  11. Depends on the amount of capacity needed. I do know though that when a site is getting more capacity or increased speeds 2 T-1 lines are usually added
  12. Technicians are working hard to deliver speed and capacity all around the country. Also according to S4GRU the Miami market which includes your location is going to start getting LTE up and running this Fall and should be finished by the beginning of 2013
  13. I am really just guessing but this are the most logical prices. AT&T and Verizon release all new high end LTE phones at $299.99. T-Mobile is just a complete guess. Sprint is committed to that $199.99 price tag on high end phones and has already said it has no plans to make prices higher then $199.99 w/ 2 year contract. I expect a release on Sprint sometime between June and August. I am almost 100% the device is coming to Sprint.
  14. Pricing in USA: Verizon: $299.99 w/ 2 year contract AT&T: $299.99 w/ 2 year contract Sprint: $199.99 w/ 2 year contract T-Mobile: $249.99 w/ 2 year contract
  15. I am heading there on Thursday and hope to get a LTE signal to do a few speed tests and maybe even stream some Netfilx or Hulu
  16. 1900 MHz antennas for LTE will be in all future LTE phones for Sprint. 2500 MHz antennas for LTE Will be in LTE phones released in mid-2013. 800 MHz antennas for LTE will come in late 2013 to early 2014 around the same time they start flipping the switch on LTE over 800 MHz
  17. This means more backhaul will be added to the site. Usually two T1 lines are added to create more capacity and raise speeds.
  18. I do not know how much you know about spectrum but there are advanatages and disadvanages to the different types of spectrum. The 700 A band is plagued with interference from TV. The 700 A B and C bands are not truly one band but multiple bands that can not easily be used in the same phone. All 700, A B and C, though are great at having the signals travel but not that good a capacity The AWS is one of those ands that is the best to build on because it consist of 1700/2100 bands that give capacity and also travel good deals. Personally this is the best spectrum The PCS is on the 1900 band and is again a good band for wireless connections like the AWS spectrum 2.5/2.6 spectrum is personally better then any spectrum listed above besides AWS or PCS for cities like New York because it gives high capacity. A high capacity network old be able to support the large population. You may have to locate the towers close to each other, with in a 1 mile range I believe for a constant network. The only band I did not mention above is the 800 band but I have little knowledge
  19. The only true Eason is to get that high capacitcy AWS and get rid of the 700 spectrum that gets interference
  20. Sprint will end up buying Clearwire in a few years to get access to all of that 2.5/2.6 GHz spectrum they could use to bolster their LTE
  21. More money in Sprint's pocket to invest in their network
  22. The only reason I switched from a HTC Eco to a iPhone and later on a Galaxy Nexus was due to bad hardware and horrible WiMax connection
  23. Currently no antennas from Wildon work with Sprint's WiMax or LTE has far as I know
