  1. I have been in the D.C area over the past few days. To be more specific Richmond, Virgiana. I know that the D.C market is a 1st round market for Sprint. During my trip I noticed great signal. I had almost 4 to 5 bars my entire trip on both my iPhone 4S and Galaxy Nexus. Also running several speed tests I was able to get constant speeds of 1-1.5 Mbps on both devices. During these speed tests I know I was connected to an eHRPD network on my Galaxy Nexus but I am unsure on my iPhone 4S. Will post pictures once I downsize them to smaller files. Forgot to mention that uploads speeds were about .8 Mbps on both phones.
  2. FreedomPop announced today that they now have an agreement with Sprint to use their 3G and LTE network. They will initially launch using Clearwire's WiMax network. By the end of the year FreedomPop will start deploying sleeves with Sprint's 3G and LTE support. In 2013 FreedomPop will stop using Clearwire's network for Sprint's but may go back to Clearwire for extra capacity. For more info go to the following link: http://gigaom.com/mobile/mvno-freedompop-swaps-clearwires-wimax-for-sprints-lte/
  3. Truly it is. Dan Hesse has already dismissed the idea in the past making almost any deal very unlikely.
  4. Old news!! Sprint nor T-Mobile are interested in a merger or buyout!!
  5. I was in the zip codes of 33993 and 33991 today and did some speed tests on speedtest.net I got speeds of about .8 Mbps with peek rates of 1 Mbps. I tried to upload pictures but the uploader said files were to large but even though they were below the maximum file size
  6. I can not answer your question but how is that hotspot? I am thinking of getting because my current hotspot does not hold a charge, is almost always over heating, and it takes over 10 minutes to connect to 3G or 4G. This is the 3G/4G hotspot from Sierrie Wireless.
  7. Had so similar problem when I visited Houston with my Galaxy Nexus. The phone had trouble connecting to any data services. I believe this is due to having the 3G/LTE on in a market that has 4G on air but not allowing people to connect. To solve this problem turn on and off 3G/LTE multiple times. If this does not work turn of 3G/LTE and switch to just 3G.
  8. Most cities start network vision on the outer city area and work inward. One example of this is Chicago were towers started to be updated in the outer city area. I believe there are no NV completed towers in Downtown Chicago yet reported. If the Miami market is down the same way then speeds will be better by the coast, the outer city. NV has started in Miami though and should be finished by early 2013.
  9. The tablets with ARM processors will be in 32 GB and 64 GB models with prices similar to other ARM passed tablets like the iPad. The Pro version will come in 128 GB and 256 GB models. The Pro version will have Intel processors and will be priced like ultrabooks!
  10. Sprint has recently announced plans to allow Direct Connect Users to use CDMA Direct Connect over their 2G network. Sprint believes their CDMA 1x network has enough bandwidth to handle the calls. This triples the reach of Sprint's Direct Connect network. This creates a nationwide CDMA Direct Connect network. Now people using iDen can switch to a reliable service. Please be aware if you do use Direct Connect over the 1x network you may notice the sound quality is poor or have trouble connecting. Sprint has said that once you are connected you should have reliable voice connection.
  11. Did you root your device?
  12. I do!! Love it so much more then iOS 5 and feels smoother (at least on the iPhone 4S)
  13. Sorry for the mistake. I deleted it
  14. Deleted due to forum rules!!
  15. If anyone was wondering about that 3G, Karma has said that they currently have only 1 wholesale partners and that is Clearwire.
  16. Would so buy one if it would work nationwide? Wonder if it will work on any 3G Networks like Sprint's?
  17. What signal booster would be good for a 5000 SQ FT Area?
  18. Switch!! Verizon=Overpriced!!! Sprint=Best Carrier Ever!!!
  19. Jailbreaking allows more uses on the device like wifi tethering and even allow you to use custom Launchers like the Samsung Galaxy S II launcher
