  1. We're afraid it'll start being like in Canada: 3 carriers, horrible pricing. Without Tmobile, that's one less reason for Sprint to keep unlimited. And regarding the "unlimited for life ..." whats to stop Sprint from pulling an ATT and interpreting that to mean "throttles after 3 GB"? Definitely not the "arbitration is mandatory" contracts all carriers use.
  2. FIBER IS IN THE HOUSE! Upon completion of Sprint's network overhaul, Sprint expects 90 percent of its backhaul to be driven by Ethernet over fiber and the remaining over microwave. 3. Why not simply have lower prices? ATT and Verizon worship margins. If Sprint gets meaningful 600 MHz coverage going, it's doubtful VZW, ATT would decrease prices until Sprint steals many customers.
  4. Why is that unfortunate? Competition is always good.
  5. A dividend. They're also buying cable networks so they can bundle services like with Kabel Deutchsland.
  6. Lower. The ones that ATT bought from Verizon for ~$3 bil in Verizon's AWS-related divestment.
  7. Soon to be 6 bands: WCS (30), 700 MHz D,E supplemental downlink (29).
  8. AT&T (NYSE:T) said it is moving to the 21 Mbps version of HSPA+ as it upgrades its network rather than the 14.4 Mbps HSPA+ version, a move likely precipitated by T-Mobile USA's aggressive migration to the 21 Mbps HSPA+ variant. 9. Their own doing. They cheaped out in the 700 auction. They could've bought all the B,C blocks.
  10. This FCC said no when TMO was failing. Why would they yes with TMO succeeding and putting pressure on big 3?Hesse probably told Son to not waste the money on TMO integration studies cause he knew what would happen if they tried to merge.
  11. Fake trees? Booo. You'd think people would be happy to see a site so close to them.
  12. Would've been better to have an extra $3bil. Stupid dish.
  13. How much "extra" money does sprint have?$5bil from softy minus Clearwire price minus USM spectrum buy.
  14. So for voice ATT is using pcs? Why the rush to refarm when HSPA can give you decent speeds AND voice?
  15. All articles I've read about m2m have the carriers insisting they're keeping 2g as long as their m2m customers need them even Verizon. But I call BS. I think 5mhz FDD LTE is orders more profitable than equal spectrum amount for CDMA/gsm m2m.
  16. Try to get sprint to expedite nv nationwide then lol.
  17. The problem occurs if ATT, Verizon go after USM and bring in TMO for the dismemberment to appease the FCC/DOJ. For that possibility alone it'd be wise for sprint to go after USM.
  18. Wow they're moving quick. System for Mobile Communications, or GSM, and Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution, or EDGE, will be on market-by-market basis. Service on the networks will be fully discontinued by about Jan. 1, 2017. http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/a/SB10000872396390443687504577567313211264588?mg=reno64-wsj
  19. Does nv go faster in the summer? Are there any safety limitations for work in winter like minimum temperature, no work when it's snowing etc.
