I feel like Rockefeller today.

I suspect the AT&T/T-Mobile models are Intel.

 

We will get to see the RF comparisons directly and see what the differences are. Should be intriguing. Qualcomm had talked a lot of smack and Intel has been relatively silent about this. We will see if QCOM is right or if they have been blowing smoke.

I just sold off a bunch more shares at $5.90

 

Almost half my stock brokerage account is cash now; no idea what to do with it in today's record high priced markets.  

Wait for Moffett to write a hit piece and buy in again after the -3% drop in price.     

I ported out of Sprint to AT&T now I regret it so much data speeds are much slower, latency much higher and i'm getting frequent Network Communication issues on good signal on Speedtest

I'm interested in the phone from a software testing perspective for Android apps. I like that it's unlocked, I like that I can grab a 16GB variant for $125... but I'm not a fan of the Amazon crapware. How easy is this thing to root?

I don't know about anyone else, but after 24.2 my phone drops down and hangs on to 3G far more often/longer than it did on 24.1.

I've been hit with 3G/1x/No Service in areas with strong LTE. It's annoying.

I think it was the carrier update or something, then. I've had spotty at best coverage in very dense b41 areas.

Only thing I like is the WiFi on flights with Gogo. Wish Sprint had that.

Hell, I just want Boingo hotspots to work in airports as a Sprint customer. I'd be thrilled with free wifi on a plane.

I honestly don't give a shit about Alibaba TBH. If that's $7.9 billion that suddenly went into Sprint CapEx the next two years, I'm sure we'd see exponential improvement out of it.

Apple is rumored to use Intel's XMM 7360 LTE modem with theoretical download speeds up to 450 Mbps and upload speeds up to 100 Mbps. The chip also features LTE Advanced with 3x carrier aggregation and support for up to 29 LTE bands overall, VoLTE, dual SIM cards, and LTE and Wi-Fi interworking. 

I'm glad they're going in-house. The big problem with agencies is that stakeholder priorities aren't always aligned.

I think a lot of institutional investors want to see money in the bank. That would be progress by the way I measure it.

The street wants to see growth, or at least the potential for growth -- that's why Apple stock has dropped so much since their earnings, and why Amazon continues to ascend.

That's good. And I guess I should have looked at the threads before I posted that lol. I expected them to be further in their deployment by now but I know they had some set backs.

Still, it would go a long way with investor confidence to hear progress on NGN and 3xCA.
