  1. Is there a technical reason for not having one model for the whole world? FCC might be the political reason.

    Flex 2?

    The link is now dead.
  3. I still need to be able to to fax. Vonage is the only service I have been able to fax with consistently.
  4. Working with lawyers and accountants... faxes are my life. Also I think Vonage offers a much better plan since I do a lot of international calling and faxing.
  5. That is my hope. I use Google Wallet but I have been irritated by more and more retailers turning off their tap to pay feature, 7-eleven for gas, Sheetz even Walmart. Hopefully they will now turn that feature back on.
  6. This might be more of what I would need to drop my buggy airave http://www.wilsonamplifiers.com/wilson-db-pro-4g-yagi-65db-amplifier-kit-460103/
  7. My work T-Mobile Bold 9900 roams on AT&T while around Midland, Virginia or anywhere west of that. This is also a corporate line.
  8. You can get talk and text and 2GB of 4G in Italy for ~$25/month, plus data cannot be turned off so long your service is in good standing. That means that the previous technology has to be free and unlimited as long as you keep your account in good standing. So it used to be unlimited EDGE but now it unlimited HSPA where LTE is available.
  9. So we keep unlimited for individual plans. For $60 no less. http://www.sprint.com/landings/datashare/index.html?ECID=vanity:newday You even have the option of upgrading every year. http://support.sprint.com/support/article/FAQs_about_Sprint_60_Unlimited_Plan/e8bc59f3-1893-4482-895a-38b7ed69ab65?INTNAV=SU:SprintFamilyunlimited:Wired:08182014:Learnmore Thoughts?
  10. Verizon does have a lot of business customers, since Blackberry is on the decline a lot of shops see Windows phone as the easiest thing to get going without spending a whole lot of money on their back end, since most of their systems are already inside the Windows ecosystem.
  11. Just don't start streaming or you will go over the 500MB limit.
  12. I like my bands to have more hertzes than less. Just like my sandwiches, the more hertzes the better I always say
  13. I just ran it and got 47ms. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/924069187
  14. The SMART PASSPORT is only good when you are out of Italy, if you are going to be within Italy use the same plan I used. It looks like plans are just the same. I imagine that your friend can get the SIM for you as long as you know what size SIM you need. Have a great trip!
  15. Turned down apparently by DT. http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2014/07/31/french-upstart-makes-offer-for-t-mobile-usa/
  16. I have had good success with doing that while streaming and taking the train, it goes through heavily wooded areas where coverage can get spotty and the train all metal chassis does not help.
  17. I'm lucky if I can get decent lunch for $10 in DC.
  18. We were both at the same tower I did not check the engineering screen but we both were on an LTE tower.
  19. I have not been able to get it to work between my HTC one and my brother's S3.
  20. Last time we had an issue like that it was a provisioning issue. Google Voice integration might have caused it if the problem started as you integrated, if it happened before then most likely not, either way the Sprint people will have to fix the provisioning issue.
  21. Now that you mention it, it could be a fee for calling when there is not an emergency. I thought you got ticket whenever that happened but depending on your locality they might just charge the number, Sprint would then pass it onto you in your bill.
  22. Sounds like you need to secure your phone better, depending on your area there 911 charges but those are labeled as such.
  23. I haven't seen any charge on my latest bill
