  1. The UI 4.1 update seems to have made the 5G UC indicator for N41 grossly inaccurate.   My Tmo S21 ultra will indicate UC even after a few minutes of idling on B66 LTE only.   Two steps forward and one step backwards.   SMH.

  2. I have a house about 40 miles north of Cabo San Lucas B.C.S and Telcel is the dominant provider there.  I used to see Movistar network there on Sprint sim but now with Tmo R15 its Telcel or AT&T that i have never connected to.    Telcel has 5x5 B5, 20x20 B66 LTE and the usual UMTS on air there.    LTE is fast when I can connect to it.   The coverage also seems a little overstated there according to the map.    I am just happy to have usable service there.

I was in a house earlier, I work with my brother in law doing handyman things, he has a one+ 5g or something along those lines. He had service all day, on my S21 Ultra I kept getting no service and then it would latch onto n71 SA 4 bars, if I wasn't using the phone no service. Something isn't right here. He has metro and I'm on a T-Mobile sim.

Try Samsung band selection app and lock to B71.   I don't get the no service intermittently like some but when at home i get the constant 2 second dropouts during phone calls while the phone is switching back and forth to different bands and its super annoying as I miss bits and pieces of the conversation.     Locking to B71 stops the voice call dropouts for me.    You have to lock to a band before initiating a call as the app will not lock to a particular band while on a volte call.

I have issues with voice-mail in general, I literally have to dial in to get the notification to go away even though I use visual voice-mail.

Same issue here on S21 Tmo sim.     even if I delete the visual voicemail I have to dial in to voicemail to get the notification to go away..

I'm 99.9% sure that the lower Sprint B41 carrier has been turned off here. I can still get the middle and upper carrier but nothing I try will even see the lower one in neighbor cells or connect to it. This carrier was adjacent to T-Mobile's 60 MHz N41 carrier, so I wonder if they will be widening that to 80 MHz soon, they haven't yet. I also noticed today that I no longer get CA on the 312-250 PLMN, either on B25 or B41. I used to get B25+B25 or B41x3, not sure when or why that stopped.

Lower Sprint B41 carrier is gone here in the Portland market as well.    The remaining 2 B41 carriers have also been moved up higher to 2660 and 2680 Mhz.

Does anyone know if the current Free Line on Us 4 is available for legacy Sprint customers? This year alone, I've grown my plan from 5 to 8 lines. Getting a 9th line would mean changing my plan...not I want to leave T-Mobile One for Magenta.

The answer is no.   I tried to have Sprint add a free line with the free line on us 4 and after spending an hour with the sales chat team all they can say is that there is no deal on the account currently for the Tmobile 2020 Line On Us 4 promo.    2 different agents tried but returned the same answer.    Oh well.   I guess we legacy Sprint customers are still the red headed step children of Tmobile....

Has anyone had issues with calls that connect but either one side or both can't hear.  Over the last week i have had several times with my wife and my son that this has happened.  One time rebooting my phone fixed it and another time my son rebooted his phone.  I live in Northern Va. Each time we have tried multiple calls and no luck.  But so far it has only happened with calls between us not with work or other calls.

This has been happening to me as well usually after switching to or from wifi calling from VOLTE.   Then switching off VOLTE in favor of CDMA seems to cause very long dial times (up to 30 sec) when placing calls.

  8. A couple of points:
    1. no details provided in Neville's announcement.  Just vague talking points.
    2.   Where is this at?  Is it all the former 5G areas or a few???
All I can say is I hope they provide details on the Earnings call Thursday.   This is a Trainwreck!
Can someone do a speed test and see what speeds are like now for 5G?    (I don't have 5G nor a 5G phone).   No need if I have no network.
The SA deployment is nationwide on N71.
