  1. Springfield, MO! I work near downtown (across from Darth Hammons tower) and 4G FINALLY went live sometime around 10:30 this morning. I'm averaging about 13-14 mb/s down and 3 up. This was a welcome development after having data so slow it was unusable for the past year. I'll post if anything changes but it's been steady so far.
  2. caught some 4G on my phone again when i was leaving work to go to lunch today. but again it went away before I could do anything. also there is now a little purple at glenstone/sunshine and battlefield/campbell. progress....
  3. when i was leaving work yesterday (across from Hammons Tower) i took out my phone and the 4G icon was lit up...i almost peed my pants. but before i could do anything it went back to 3G. also the north side of SGF has some purple mapped out along/around I-44 on sensorly. progress.....
  4. sorry i wasn't able to check back on the site on Kimbrough, my weekend got silly. i'll keep an eye out for any more signs of work and try to talk to workers i see there.
  5. Springfield, MO - lots of work going on at the tower on Kimbrough (and Elm?) by the new Qdoba. Truck, plenty of dudes and boxes and such. Didn't get a chance to stop and ask if they're Sprint but I did see an Ericsson truck there a month ago or so. I'll try to get pics after work. I am hoping it's Sprint and they're actually doing things because I work near Hammons tower and my data speeds have been CRAZY slow lately. worse than usual. one other thought - I use Llama on my phone and the last couple days it's been wigging out and connecting to different cells that haven't popped up before, even in areas i've had learned/set for months. wonder if this could be related to any work going on?
  6. I KNEW IT. must be because i was a day late on a bill one time. oh well
  7. what the heck, did they skip over Springfield or what? i'm tired of not being able to even stream pandora at work.
  8. I like silver dollar city alright but the rest of Branson i could do without. did go see The Price is Right down there, that was fun, but otherwise it's not really my scene.
  9. Went to KC last weekend and was getting 15-18Mbps download speeds, it was so disappointing to come back to 0.2Mbps in SGF. 4G can't come fast enough. Fortunately I complained to Credo and they gave me a bill credit for our data fees on next month's bill ($60)...just a band-aid but it's nice nonetheless.
  10. If you go to Credo Mobile (who use the Sprint network) they will pay your cancellation fees - up to $350 per line, via account credit. I just switched to Credo from AT&T a couple months ago and I'm liking them. Got an SGS3 free but that was a special Black Friday deal they were running. They're still pretty discounted now I think, haven't gone to the site in a while. Sprint network sucks at the moment but I'm thinking it'll be worth the wait once they finally get LTE here.
  11. Hello, just signed on with Credo Mobile (uses the Sprint network) after jumping ship from AT&T because they claimed their network in Springfield was 4G but I was lucky to break 1.0 Mbps usually. Kind of annoyed at the horrible 3G data speeds on Sprint's network but I'm happy to see the report above of the expected Feb 2013 LTE rollout. Looks like it'll be worth the wait. I'm definitely going to monitor this thread for updates because it's unbearable to be unable to even stream Pandora at times while I'm at work. Side note - I was at my in-laws' house last weekend up north of I-44 and I got 1.33Mbps down. Anyone else have typically faster speeds on the north side of town?
