  1. I've been picking up a good LTE signal on the East side, Maysville rd, 469 and surrounding areas. Even with 1 bar, it's been around 12Mbps down, 10 up.
  2. Pretty nice little app, but how up to date is it? I had 3G turned on in my town about 2 months ago and your app isn't reflecting that, just wanted to let ya know. Looks good and works pretty quick though, good job.
  3. What about the practice of Android is a "pile?" Other than SMS, seeing how the character limit has been a standard since 1985.
  4. I live south of Ft Wayne about 30 min and I know that they have been doing work around here. About a month ago, my town started getting 3G, instead of the 1x we've had since the beginning of time. And it's fast 3G too. I think this market is right on schedule late summer/fall launch.
  5. I'm hopeful and almost confident that this area will stay up. Population of 4000, with half that being amish, not a big strain on the network
  6. It's Rev A. Those tests were done on the first day I noticed 3G was popping up, it was off and on for a few days after that. 7 tests done over the past 3 days have averaged 1.85Mbps down, .62Mbps up and latency of 142ms. Coming from 15-20kbps down, 140-200kbps up and latency of close to a full second, I can 100% say that I've seen improved data speeds. I've also had 0 dropped calls since this has taken place, where I would normally have 1-2 a day.
  7. I know. And after hearing about some issues with the Chicago rollout, I was expecting LATE end of the year. It may just be a upgrade to EVDO, but I find it hard to believe going to that trouble and then coming back in a few months and doing more work. Granted, when does Sprint ever make sense.
  8. Thanks man, it's nice to be a part of the modern age. I think the speeds should stay fairly consistent, town of 5K. Now I just need the EVO LTE to see if it's a full upgrade
  9. Until this afternoon, never. For the past 7 years, to get 3G and/or WiMax, I've had to drive to either Muncie or Ft. Wayne, 45 mins either direction. When iPCS first sued Sprint, they stopped upgrading. Thankfully Sprint bought them out and now things are looking up.
  10. Just a heads up. NE Indiana, more specifically, the little town I live in has 3G as of this afternoon. I'm trying to determine whether it's just the closest tower to my house or all in the county. I also am unaware if it's a full NV deployment or what. I'm so happy though.
  11. I'm in NE Indiana, old iPCS territory. Ever since I've been with Sprint, it's always been 1x data around here. As of this afternoon, I now have 3G. I'm trying to determine whether this was a full NV upgrade or what. But I'm so excited.
  12. I was so happy when Sprint finally purchased iPCS and got rid of their crap. Seeing this area as a 2nd round market was like a godsend, having used WiMax maybe twice. Looking forward to keeping up with everybody's progress through this site.
  13. Good site and great information. Very much looking forward to NV here in Ft Wayne, IN market. After having only 1x in my town for the past 9 years, I won't know what to do.
