Calling Plus (VoLTE "Lite")
Cubbiefan82 replied to burnout8488's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I think after they make improvements to the network this year, I feel that volte will be better for prime time. Honestly, I use it on verizon for work. A lot of times the calls suck, I end up using my personal phone to call into the office a lot. -
AT&T selling off 1,000,000,000 dollars in 600 MHz licenses

t mobile has nationwide 600, and don't really need much more right now. They may buy it, but honestly. I see them spending the money somewhere else -

I don't understand the value of this, it seems a little pricey to me. It has a few major cities, but they are all 10mhz markets in the major markets -
I recommend the contracting the same twitter(Marci Carrie) as above and it will get forward to the network team at sprint

I hope everyone in Floridia (including your mom) will make it though this hurricane.

It is lte roaming from uscc(I checked it with signal check/engineering screen, I just moved back from kc three months ago.
-
No changes to bands or band priorites, besides the roaming data settings. When I lived in kc, I use to test the us cell roaming down on us-69 about 20-25 minutes south of sprint campus. It would automatically change to it. I am sorry if it isn't doing it for you, I have never been on pseudo-native, so I am sorry I can't help with that
-
I agree! I am glad they are finally doing more, the sprint network still has some problem areas. But overall, it is works. I know we all want crazy high speeds, but lets be real. We don't need them, it is just nice to know that the network can support tons of users. If I want to watch tv while at the gym. I can do it , that is all I care about

Thanks!! Life has been pretty crazy, but you know I always handle it well. Let me know how you like the U11, I am thinking about getting it as my upgrade has been long over due :-)
-
sorry for the delay, got busy with work. I just went into mobile data, make sure roaming is on (slider is to the right), then domestic roaming is on. If you need screen shots, let me know
-
I have the HTC M9 and I have never had a issue connecting to the lte roaming. I wonder why your family has had issues with it, I know I had to mess with the settings to make sure it would allow it to roam, and had a few messages warning me about roaming

Network Vision/LTE - Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands Market
Cubbiefan82 replied to Gab2012's topic in Markets
I forgot to post this, but I saw the third carrier on one of the sites while I was down in pr for workation. -
I have heard that, if you make a phone call. It then registers your phone on the network and then you data starts working. I would try that to start. It has been proven to work on uscc, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work on verizon

Mobilitie Sites
Cubbiefan82 replied to ejlwireless's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Sadly, because sprint isn't releasing as much information about them. There is talks in market threads about it. But without a lot of information about how they deploying them. Not much to really talk about, until we start seeing a lot more pop up. I don't see a lot of talk about them increasing -
no bash on clear sites, just saying I cant verify the third carrier/ca for sprint sites when there is a lot of clear sites around.
-
Sadly right now I am not much help, I am working in Kansas city area(which is heavy on the clearwire sites also). I do know that a lot of the sprint band 41 sites are more towards the suburbs, with some mixed in the city here and there. I suggest to donate some money to the site, that will help you find where the city sites are located. That will help with your search and other guys from this site also. But that will help you know where the sprint sites are located at least.
-
You also maybe on a clearwire site

Sprint upload speed again is the one thing that is keeping them from second place, I can't wait to see how the tests go next year. The adding of another 5x5 in the uscc acquired spectrum. Then the 2x ca capable upload on new phones. Only getting better day by day
-
Would they be talking about the ku campus area?? I know it isn't downtown, I was downtown Lawrence for thanksgiving and was on band 26 and it was weak band 26 for most of it.

I dont care about the streaming video, my previous job I traveled a lot into roaming areas. I would come close to the 300 all the time, and that was on 3G. I can only imagine, how fast it would go with lte. As AJ says 25 bucks for 1gb would be good for me
-
I agree with that, maybe set amount for each 1gb of roaming data
-
I have no problems uscc being lte roaming, I would like a higher cap then 100/300 mbs on the roaming though

I am kansas city right now, and I had to turn on my wi-fi calling to get texts. a lot of people on downdetector.com saying the same thing. Sprints twitter says it is a nationwide issue, and they are working on it
