Got the r15 sim and it has not been a good experience.
Once you have that sim tmobile throttles your video. YouTube is the only exception for some reason.
Also you will lose the ability to roam on att or sprint and Tmo B41 will not aggregate bands vs Sprint sim that would aggregate both bands.
You lose a lot to get standalone and its not worth it.
I'm switching back to the Sprint sim.
I am going to have to disagree with you every T-Mobile store here has a femtocell of some type and as soon as an close enough to it I get kicked off 5G Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
Also found my second tmobile towee with 2.5ghz . This one is in Lady Lake Fl. B71, N71 and n41 are not active yet Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
I think you had a question a while back about if Tmo 600mhz antenna can use AWS and PCS? I have seen two towers here using B71, N71, B2, B66, B4 and 3G all from the 600mhz antenna so I guess the answer is yes.
I talked to the Ericsson engineer doing this tower. He said they usually use their own equipment but for this tower they are using Nokia massive mimo and 600mhz equipment. That explains it. They are using Nokia on some and Ericsson on some just like you thought. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
Also Tmo has the most uninformed network. You will see towers with B66/4+B12 and some with B66/4 +B2+B12+B71 or B66/4, B71, B12 and even some with just B12 or just B66/4. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
Thats how tmo operates. With Sprint its really simple. B25, B26 or 2-3XCA b41. With tmobile you could be using B66+B2+B12 one min and the next using B2+B12 or B12+B4. Its there load balancing act so to speak. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
Sprint has more rural towers here than tmo and will likely have at least 5 keep towers. Most towers they are co located on though. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
First you need to find out if there are any N41 antenna on a tmobile tower in your area. They (at least here) will test when they are putting the equipment up. Sometimes the test is 20 mins and sometimes 2-3 hours. This is for N71 btw. It usually goes back offline for 3-6 weeks. The earfcn sometimes will change too so it can make room for N41. I have not seen that yet as this is the first N41 antenna in the marion county FL. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
For me in Fl both are Ericsson so idk but Sprint does have a ton of Nokia 8t8r just not in my market. Its all Ericsson 8t8r. Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
