  1. Strong signal, slow LTE in west valley (roughly 4100 south, 3500 West). I'm getting 0.5 download/1.0 upload. The performance in South Jordan is much better. Anyone else experiencing slow performance in WV?
  2. I'm happy with having anything above 4 Mbps as long as it's unlimited. That speed is plenty fast enough to stream video without any buffering.
  3. I've been excited to see LTE firing up. Performance has been all over the board. So far the best speed I've seen is 26.28 Mbps down and 8.11 Mbps up in South Jordan around 3200 W, and 11400 S. Speed drops dramatically 2 blocks east, but still decent (5.5/4.5). Am I glad I stayed with Sprint? As long as they don't pull unlimited data away from my plan, I'll answer that with a "yes", although I suspect that they are going to pull the rug out from under those of us not on their new plans at some point. Perhaps I'm a bit Jaded from having to give up my SERO plan years ago.
  4. I hear you! I upgraded from a Evo 4G to the iPhone 5s. The 3g in South Jordan is unusable for the most part. I get about .13 down and .5 up on average. Meanwhile my coworker on AT&T gets 25 down and 15 up! I took the gamble that I'd have to suffer with poor connectivity for a few months and I'm hoping I don't live to regret it! So far, the few LTE connections that I've tested have been mediocre compared to what I've seen on Verizon and At&t. The best speed to date has been 8.72 down and 3.22 up. That was just north of SLC.
  5. Thanks for your input Robert. Looks like a used SGII may be in order, to get me through.
  6. Does anyone know for certain if SLC is indeed a 3rd round market for LTE? If so, can I expect LTE mid 2013? My original EVO has served me well, but it is on it's last leg. The wimax in SLC is awesome, however, the 3g is TERRIBLE. I get 0.10 Mbps up, 0.37 Mbps down. Anyway, would love to pick up a Note II or iphone 5 but with those speeds, I'm better off limping along on my EVO. Thanks Much!
