  1. I don't know if the CPU should be what gets the price down. If OnePlus can get the price of the 8 with an 865 in it, why can't Google with the Pixel?
  2. We went to Colorado in July specifically to get away and go somewhere we could be in the open and away from large crowds. We've wanted to go for years but never did until this year. I'm sorry to hear you were not able to make your planned trip. I also updated my post to make sure people know I didn't take that photo. I definitely want to go there though.
  3. I went for a drive last night and definitely saw the values changing. I stopped in the Lowe's parking lot and sent a report while running a speed test. Hopefully it has something useful in it. [emoji2369]
  4. I didn't notice if the values were fluctuating because I was driving, but I will go out in a bit and stop and watch them when I see the 5G section populate. I sent the report when I stopped at a red light, and by the time I pasted in my message I had written earlier and hit send, the light was already green. [emoji16] I do feel like I've seen them change before when I was watching them, but it's been a while since I really payed attention, as I didn't think it was really 5G at the time.
  5. Have you received any reports from the OnePlus 8 besides mine? I'm not sure how good the data is based on what I've read on here about how TMO is showing 5G as long as you're connected to an anchor LTE band even if there is no NR connected. Just hoping I'm sending actually helpful reports [emoji23]
  6. We don't really need any of those things, if you're being honest
  7. As far as I'm concerned, this is a good thing. But then I worked for Sprint for 27 years, and I'm sad to see the name go away.
  8. According to that link, the OnePlus 8 supports 5G SA, but it didn't specify the software version required. How would I know if I was connected to 5G SA?
  9. It should already have access to it. All current Sprint 5G phones should use the TMO 5G and LTE networks first, then the Sprint networks, then roaming.
  10. My first decent speed test on T-Mobile. Someday maybe it will catch up with the Sprint 5G network that was shut down.
  11. Even after all the pics I've seen on here over the years, I still have no idea what I'm looking at when I see a tower. [emoji16]
  12. This is rough off the top of my head, so I may have to edit it later. Dumb phones from 98-2007 not included. There were only a handful of those before I bought the PPC6700. The first was on Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, before Sprint PCS was launched. PPC6700 (UTStarcom/HTC Apache) Palm Treo 800W Palm Pre HTC EVO 3D Palm Pre iPhone 5 Palm Pre2 (w Sprint modem) Nexus 5X Nexus 5 LG G5 LG V40 LG V50 OnePlus 8
  13. Thanks. I have the OnePlus 8. I haven't been around the city much lately (shock, I know [emoji16]) but when I was traveling down 635 recently, I wasn't looking for 5G coverage.
  14. Yes, but it appears to be the same as T-Mobile's offer. At least that's what I see on their site.
  15. I don't know if you are still waiting, but the OnePlus is showing 50% off on Sprint's site now. I ordered one this morning for in store pickup. Edit: well lease payment is 50% off, full price is still $699.
  16. I would imagine for existing Sprint customers, they will access both networks like they've done for other devices.
  17. For me it's the loss of the true third rear camera, and frankly I'm tired of LG's poor handling of monthly updates and upgrades. As much as I've liked my V40 and V50, it's not enough anymore.
