  1. The only one that makes sense in terms of a spectrum portfolio is dish.. give them 40-60mhz of band 41, some of Sprint’s stores that will close anyway and the towers that will be decommissioned and there you have a 4th carrier .. and give dish a very strict rollout time frame Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Was talked about during his segment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Well, it looks like soon they won’t be able to hide it.. 17 more states looking to jump on board of this lawsuit.. that’s a total of 27 territory against the deal.. if a judge grants the junction could delay deal indefinitely.. tmo and sprint would seriously meet to consider if they want to move forward on this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I agree!!! SoftBank has been looking for a buyer/merger since 2017 and no one wanted to buy them expect tmo last min... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. After the private meetings( one private meeting with the head of FCC and than John had one yesterday with Marcelo with doj) and additional concessions .. the states seem to have insight that the merger is almost approved. So, the states took charge in saying: go ahead and approve if you want we will sue and make it official now that we will sue.. If DOJ also says no, than TMO and sprint will pull out. If DOj says yes they will fight in court and a delay will come with that.. if DOJ approves the merger can begin and the integration of networks can start only thing can stop it (wether injunction is granted to block the deal in my opinion. It was premature to file they don’t even know terms) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That info hasn’t been released, but spectrum divesture is in play Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. States have officially filed to sue... sources say this means the doj is ready to approve.. after spectrum concessions are now in play these are the states suing... still no official word from DOJ , but if doj doesn’t approve.. tmo will pull out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Deal is very close to being approve.. some spectrum concessions have been made in private.. state ags will sue at 2pm in a press conference, but they won’t win... this deal is done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. 180 days are now over. The official going on the record will be around the 15th. That’s when they all go on the podium and give there votes. So, everything will be in more detail in the coming days from the sources.. as to how the DOJ and states want to pursue this deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Stock took a bit of a hit from what I’m reading.. looks like delharim is out of the country and gave his staff heavy loading on the negotiations. Even so much that the fcc may have to revise there concessions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Cheaper to buy boost and invest the money that you would buying sprint Into boost Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The speeds we are seeing are with hardly any phones on the 5G network.. once more phones got on to the network... mmmmm [emoji848], just throwing that out there.. I just hope the total of 120mhz will be used as stated by John that 5G phone can makes use of all the spectrum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Which is true, but going from 4 to 3 has always been received negatively, but if these reports are true of that kind of concessions that Makan Delrahim is supposed to announce anyday. No way they accept this According to Bloomberg, the Justice Department disagrees with those who say that a combined T-Mobile-Sprint would be a tougher competitor for the nation's two top wireless carriers, Verizon and AT&T. That argument doesn't seem to hold much water with DOJ antitrust chief Makan Delrahim, who will reportedly demand that both T-Mobile and Sprint help create a new carrier that would keep the number of major providers at four Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This may force him to. Although, they will try to get in bed with someone else, it will be a lot harder to create another deal with someone else. Dish doesn’t have the resources to make this work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yup that’s what this is imo: no way they agree to this top Justice Department officials want T-Mobile and Sprint to create a full-fledged national carrier to get approval for the merger. The new carrier wouldn't be an NVMO that rents T-Mobile's network, either; it would be its own independent network with its own infrastructure. In other words, a new competitor would be created to fill Sprint's current role. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Yes for now, but if this is accurate it will take more than just spectrum to create a 4th player.. infrastructure, maybe giving up customers, a favorable roaming deal, giving up stores, employees , who knows this could be a big concessions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yup! So, if this report is accurate it’s another way of saying we don’t want this deal, but if you want it that bad this is what we are willing to take Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yup, if tmo wants the deal that bad spectrum will have to be divested even low band with a mix of 2.5 .. and then the new tmo will have to enable roaming on its network at a good wholesale price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It is and it could very well be a another way of saying we don’t want this deal.. if this is true, more than spectrum will be needed to create a 4th player. It think it needs spectrum for urban/suburban area 60mhz of 2.5 and some low band and for no one coverage area a roaming deal with the new tmo network will need to be made. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yup, they exist . Got quiet a few of them here .. one site so far has been done. And they had to build a new tower next to the wooden tower and move the equipment over to the newly built site.. most of them have a waiting period most sites are built with 10 years leases.. so they usually wait until the lease is up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Correct, but that will all take time.. the fastest way to migrate customer is to move over and add sprints midband spectrum.. than focus on the the band 41 part of it.. some sites may not be able to handle all the weight( lot to factor in).. we have wooden sites now that can’t handle more than band 4 here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
