Ha. Why are you getting so worked up Jonny-boy? Facts are facts. The 4 most densely populated states in the US are NJ, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and CT in that order. Sprint has ignored large parts of every single one of those states and fails to provide adequate LTE coverage. If this was actually true, why do they have the least amount of subscribers then? ----- How can we expect Sprint to bring in customers.. especially if they're ignoring the US' most densely populated areas?

It is subpar once you consider that T-Mobile went from zero to 300+ million POPs of LTE in less time than Sprint has been deploying LTE. Coverage is an issue across the US. I'm not sure how one could deny that. They need to upgrade all those EVDO-only sites to LTE.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, of course. I forgot about the Pixel. Thanks! Google and Samsung are the only two that seem to promise updates (and actually deliver them) Of course, they all pale in comparison to Apple. Even 4-5 year old iPhones get the latest OS. They're finally stopping iPhone 5 support with iOS 11. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Essential will end up just like Nextbit, OnePlus, and Huawei. Mark my words. Too many small Android OEMs have claimed big things. They've ALL fallen short in one way or another. Downside? You can already get the Galaxy S8 with similar specs and a nicer screen for less money than this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My point was that he said he doesn't have an issue with TMo ignoring Windows Mobile, yet he spends the next 2-3 paragraphs outlining why he does have an issue with it...

If you don't have any issues with it, why do you keep spamming us about it? 99% of your posts can be cut down to a single sentence.

Or she could just carry one device like everyone else... I don't see the need for Digits, especially if you aren't employed or run your own business. Those are the only two use-cases that make sense to me. We've had similar integration for years from Apple (iOS Continuity) or Google Voice, yet when T-Mobile does it, it's suddenly a big deal? Give me a break... Windows Mobile hasn't been relevant for a long time. Microsoft basically killed off their hardware division. I think HP makes a new Windows phone though?

Don't forget new leasing plans! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seriously. The entire post could've been shortened to "I might leave TMobile because Windows Mobile doesn't have Digits support" Who cares about the other non-sense... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You are aware that 95% of those trade-in offers are only for users with recent smartphones right...?

Network Vision/LTE - Boston Market (all of Massachusetts)
WiseGuy321 replied to brendan4t's topic in Markets
Huh? You're repeating exactly what I said. Sprint has great service in Chicago and Kansas. Boston? Nope. I actually live here. You don't. Just because you don't like what I have to say doesn't mean I'm ranting... We're done here. -
I find that hard to believe. With the rampant discounting of Androids, resale values have completely tanked. Google was selling the Pixel for pennies on the dollar for Black Friday last year too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why should Verizon incentivize these things? They have nearly 2x the customers of T-Mobile or Sprint. On the topic of leasing, it's not a great idea. $5 a month for every $100 of MSRP is ridiculous. Device prices are far too high and resale value is far too low be handing out phones at that price point. Not to mention, the large balloon payment that would be required at the end of the lease if you want to keep the phone.

Network Vision/LTE - Boston Market (all of Massachusetts)
WiseGuy321 replied to brendan4t's topic in Markets
Hmm... you should tell that to my Lyft driver the other day when I got picked up in Chestnut Hill. His Sprint LTE connection was dead, so we had to drive down the block before his app would start the ride. Beacon Hill? I work at MGH and that's simply incorrect. Around the hospital, Sprint is overloaded. Data almost never works. Inside the hospital campus? Nope, only AT&T/Verizon are on the DAS network. Keep in mind, Mass General Hospital is routinely considered a top 3 hospital in the US. A few of my colleagues live on Beacon Hill and if you're not on Charles Street, signal is weak with Sprint. They are the only carrier not on the Extenet oDAS system. Another major trouble spot is DTX. Again, during peak times, Sprint is crawling and nothing has been done to alleviate the issue. This has been going on for years. I even tested it last week and no improvements. Even in the city and its neighboring suburbs, their biggest problem is density, density, and density. Sure, Sprint might work great on Beacon Street or Newbury, but what happens on the side streets? Signal weakens quickly. Even T-Mobile is slowly adding their equipment to the hundreds of Crown Castle/Extenet/American Tower oDAS nodes. Why doesn't Sprint do the same? IMO the issue with Sprint is that they simply don't care about New England. Boston is a major biomedical hub and Sprint service is only adequate, not great, like Kansas or Chicago. T-Mobile simply destroys Sprint on every metric around Boston (network reliability, call quality, data speeds, and data performance) -
You're forgetting that Verizon has far more legacy customers than T-Mobile. Customers who have non-LTE devices and don't want to upgrade. That spectrum currently houses EVDO and 1x. They're slowly sunsetting older technology for LTE. Verizon can't just pull EVDO offline, like TMo has done with HSPA in some markets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
