Maybe this will finally force AT&T (and T-Mo/Sprint) to build-up their networks in Maine. Verizon and USCC have been the only two quality options for those who travel across the state regularly.
-
This is interesting. The only two carriers in that area are USCC and Verizon. Maybe this foreshadows an upcoming roaming agreement between Verizon and USCC?

Well, neither of them cover that part of Maine, so it wouldn't make sense for them to have a reaction. Maine is an odd state. Verizon/AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile all strategically don't deploy service in parts of the state. T-Mobile says they will blanket the state with 600, but I'll believe it when I see it...

Well there are reports of V20s bootlooping, so no thanks. I'm not getting suckered into LG garbage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sure, but hopefully it doesn't start bootlooping like all LG devices... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Incorrect. TMobile has B5 deployed in Myrtle Beach. Not leased to at&t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes. CLR = 850Mhz Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like a waste of time. The typical 55+ year old isn't using significant amounts of data. More empty marketing by T-Mobile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

B5? Where are you located? TMobile owns very little B5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is Sprint on the DAS inside the Oculus?

Not sure if that's true. Pixel and Pixel XL work perfectly on B12. If it didn't, why were they paying users to bring their Pixels to T-Mobile? http://www.spectrumgateway.com/compatible-phones https://madeby.google.com/phone/specs/ Weirdly, Verizon doesn't advertise B12 support for their Pixel even though it's the same model as the Direct-From-Google one. https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/help/google-pixel-xl-vs-verizon-pixel-xl-t3482958/amp/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But Sprint's implementation of HD Voice is substandard at best. HD Voice gets disabled when WiFi-calling is enabled. Not to mention, it only works between Sprint subs. That doesn't make any sense... With AMR-WB, TMobile/Verizon/AT&T definitely have the best voice QUALITY. Plus it works cross-carrier! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AT&T implements C-RAN, 256QAM, 4x4 MIMO, 3xCA in Indianapolis
WiseGuy321 replied to bigsnake49's topic in General Topics
This isn't the first instance of AT&T deploying 256QAM or 4x4 MIMO. It's already up in many areas. They just don't toot their horn like Magenta... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I would try to get that "generous offer" in writing or notated on your account before aimlessly porting over. T-Mobile tends to promise everything under the sun to their customers. These customers then spend hours with billing every month trying to get to their port-in/bill/whatever credits properly applied... Their billing system is nothing short of a disaster.

Yeah, this is true. Both Verizon and AT&T got rid of their discounts with the new unlimited plans. Are they? According to the most recent PC Magazine test, they had the fastest avg data speeds, second highest downloads over 5mbps (87% vs 88% for VZW), tied for uploads over 2mbps (90% with VZW), and has the second highest reliability (97% vs 97% for VZW). They also posted the largest increase in data speeds from 2016. https://www.pcmag.com/Fastest-Mobile-Networks I'm pretty sure Cricket already offers a very similar plan at the $55 (with autopay) price point. I'm not sure what the issue with the autopay policy is. Leave the debit card on auto-pay. They send you a reminder 10 or so days in advance. Go into the app and pay with your credit card.

Those are probably Verizon and/or T-Mobile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
