  1. Not feeling too well so I didn't get any screen shots, but I did map some more purple down south around Lucasville yesterday while visiting family. It looks like there are at least two towers running LTE down in southern Ohio north of Portsmouth. I'll try to get back down in that area in a couple of weeks when I'm feeling better.
  2. Have I missed something? Sensorly is showing 4G on I-270 in the Hilliard area between Roberts and Cemetery roads. i'll try to get up in that area today and see what I can find.
  3. If you look at your battery screen under settings when you plug it in, see if it says "Charging (AC)" or "Charging (USB)". Some of the phones out there will draw a lower current if it senses it's plugged into a USB port for charging rather than a wall charger. Many of the car chargers out there, especially older ones, show up as USB. I use this car charger from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0062O25IS/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It has a low price ($7.55) and free shipping for anyone. It is sensed as an AC charger by my Galaxy S3 and it does a great
  4. Noticed a rural tower that had new RRU's and antennas on it yesterday. CB03H**** 39.39*** -82.16**** ****, Nelsonville, OH 45764, USA Sprint Market: Columbus OEM: Samsung RF Switch: FW-FORT_WAYNE-MSC_1 It's located south of Nelsonville along US RT 33 (about half way between Nelsonville and The Plains). I wasn't able to get pictures or do any testing due to heavy traffic, so I didn't post it in the In Progress thread, but is is definitely in progress. It looks like there may be some hope for South East Ohio too.
  5. BTW - I saw them placing new antennas on the tower at 2500 W Dublin Granville Rd in North Columbus (Rt 161 in Linworth) last Thursday, May 2nd. I wasn't able to get any pictures due to rush hour traffic but there were two men up on the tower and two on the ground at about 5:30 PM. I'll try to swing by there for some pictures today.
  6. At West Broad and Norton you are probably on the tower behind the car wash on Norton Rd. In either case they have been doing ground work on both towers near you. (cabinets, fiber, etc) I haven't checked the towers for a couple of weeks but I may do so today to see if any tower work has been done.
  7. Check the map here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/682-network-vision-site-map-ohio-markets-west-virginia/ Columbus market is the blue pins.
  8. How much of a delay will be determined on how much OSHA get involved.
  9. I went to that New York page, clicked on the Sensorly logo in the upper left corner which took me to a page that had locality displayed, and I then bookmarked that page. Now it takes me to my local map every time.
  10. Yes, that is a propane tank. An advantage to propane is it's lifespan. It won't go bad sitting in the tank for extended periods of time like diesel or gasoline will.
  11. SW Columbus (Lincoln Village) is also getting eHRPD. Just bit the bullet and upgraded to a Galaxy S3 yesterday so I guess I'll be watching the 3G for a while. I had the old buy-back program with Best Buy which was expiring soon so I had to use it or loose it. Got the S3 and Best Buy still owes me $27.00 so i couldn't pass it up.
  12. I am in Lincoln Village (a couple of miles away) and I noticed my Epic 4G is eating the battery this evening. I checked the battery usage and saw the Animated Weather Widget was 62% of the usage which means it probably is having trouble updating the weather so it just keeps trying which eats the battery. 10:40PM My current 3G SpeedTest with 2 bars is Ping = 406ms, down = 32kbps, up = 28kbps. My current 4G SpeedTest with 2 bars is Ping = 90ms, down = 1066kbps, up = 1393kbps. Just ran another 4G at 10:45PM Ping = 102ms, down = 3471kbps, up = 1234kbps.
  13. Seen it many times and have a copy. I am a member of the Alferd Packer Memorial Kitchen Crew. We cook for Tecumseh Lodge in the Boy Scouts, Order of the Arrow. Our slogan is "We would love to have you for dinner" and we can be identified by our black shirts with Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man delineated with butcher cuts on the back. For any of you familiar with the Order of the Arrow my Vigil name is Woapsu Machque which translates to Polar Bear. Now you know where my name and avatar come from.
  14. So far the Cleveland market is the only Ohio market mentioned in the 3rd round list. Columbus and Cincinatti haven't even been mentioned yet as far as I know.
