  1. I think we should all take off our cases to optimize band utilization and our experience.
  2. Do you guys think various popular cases for phones are having a significant impact on signal strength/band utilization on sprints network? Such that towers are throwing users off band41 more often due to case plus being in pocket resulting in more band25/26 congestion.
  3. I think it was something wrong with their server from talking to sprint, as the version of the voicemail app has remained the same.
  4. It was definitely fixed on their end, no longer keeping phone awake. No update was needed.
  5. In Yorba Linda it seems a small cell is up and operating: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o4amlbdajaqo021/2015-10-20%2015.19.47.jpg?dl=0 Was getting signal in the -70dbm range when near it. It is on the roof of a parking structure facing some buildings.
  6. Voicemail battery drain seems resolved

  8. For some reason the default voicemail app as of 2 days ago is keeping my phone awake for hours. Anyone else, and what version of the app do you guys have on s6/edge?
  9. I have the same issue from a verizon landline and get it reversed every month by calling in.
  10. Do you guys think Sprint has already done testing in clearwire markets to adjust their native towers when clearwire towers go down in order to optimize coverage and speed in the gaps, or will this begin after the clearwire service goes down. I am worried about severely degraded service for months as they take their time to make resulting adjustments in all the clearwire markets.
  11. Thanks for explaining that. I wonder what happens if they are not able to make their deadline and still leave the clearwire towers running after the deadline due to tardiness.
  12. Is sprint waiting until the last week/day to tear down the clearwire equipment or has it already begun? It seems in the so-cal area in heavily clearwire areas, nothing has really changed and I still connect to clearwire all the time.
  13. On android 5.1.1 is service option 73, reduce rate 4 under 1x engineering indicative of HD calling?
  14. 2 More towers I am wondering about. Any idea what these ones are? https://www.dropbox.com/s/o3xy6bvh3c2tuj7/2015-09-28%2018.48.32.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/xazbhs43fcrjqkv/2015-09-28%2018.58.40.jpg?dl=0
  15. Today I was shocked to see to see 1x800 on signalcheck app briefly in the so-cal around the carbon canyon area in Brea. Maybe sprint was doing some testing, in an isolated area, or is it possible they have 1x800 for emergency calls in a natural/regional park area for emergency calls in just that area?
  16. Probably because sprint was not responsible for paying a big chunk of it and now they are. Also probably the same reason this has been delayed for so long.
  17. Sprint has agreed with this timeline, and is even providing incentive bonus payments if certain checkpoints are met starting by July 2016.
  18. San Bernardino SMR will be another year at the minimum according to meeting notes from the board meeting today. This is terrible news for the large affected area.
