  1. I've picked up B41 in the Mayfield Heights area and the Parma area. Seems like they are turning on B41 rather quickly, as compared to B25.
  2. Do Spark phones have less roaming capabilities than non-Spark LTE phones? I was looking on the Sprint coverage map for an area that usually has roaming 3G data coverage. At least on my old GS3, it did. But I checked the data coverage for my GS5 and it shows no coverage. I zoom out and overall it looks like the roaming is extremely limited with the GS5 compared to the GS3. The specific area code is 27892. Thanks.
  3. Wow, that was fast: http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/TMobile-VoLTE-Now-Available-Nationwide-129929
  4. Same here in Cleveland area. I expected B25 LTE to cover at least the same area as 3G, but that does not seem to be the case.
  5. I activated my GS5 recently online and I did get an email with the "Activation Code". I tried it in the ##DATA# screen for the MSL code and it DID work. :-) I had no idea that this was the MSL code. I was just going to delete this email.
  6. I just recently updated from the GS3 to the GS5. No issues here so far.
  7. Yeah, to me, that's not acceptable. How would you ever know if/when they update your area so that it works correctly in LTE mode to know when you can change your phone back to LTE mode?!
  8. Thanks for the reply. I've seen a lot of people complaining about it on the Sprint forums. The Sprint replies are saying change the phone to be CDMA only until the issue is resolved. I didn't know if it was a market thing or if it's like that everywhere.
  9. Does the GS5 still have problem receiving calls while on LTE NOT in a Spark market?
  10. So, when do you think the "mid 2014" date will be for the completion of their LTE rollout? I think they still have a long way to go and it's the end of June already.
  11. What I'm experiencing is that some areas where they have it labeled "best", I get no LTE at all (indoors or outdoors). I just think they should have labeled more areas as "fair".
  12. The Sprint coverage map was updated on 6/13/2014 and now Cleveland is there as having LTE coverage. I think that's a little premature, as there are still several places where I can't get LTE.
  13. Wow, your phone still works from an underwater dust storm. Now THAT'S durable! I think I'll upgrade to a GS5!.
  14. Everything is stock ND8. Well that's disappointing.
  15. Does anybody else have a problem where you see that your phone is on 4G, but if you then hold the phone sideways, it drops to 3G?
  16. Yeah, it will be interesting to see how people react to this software, as compared to the reaction to CarrierIQ and to all the other installed-by-default-and-not-removeable software that Sprint already installs on devices. I have not problem with any of this software, but it will be interesting to see how others react.
  17. Yes, I saw that deal. They wouldn't give me much for my current phone.
  18. Anybody know of any GS5 deals out there?
  19. I still don't see the prices of phones going down, especially since now with the no contract plans, we have the monthly phone payment plans. They are going to get their money one way or the other.
  20. But after 2 years, being me, I'm going to want (and maybe NEED. They don't build these phones to last) a new phone anyway. So add that $30 back in there. :-)
  21. Isn't that just for data handoff?
