are any of you seeing 'reeeally' slow transitions back to LTE from 3g?
Yea, it's been like this for me for awhile even before the spark update but now even if I'm in the high nineties it will still switch to 3g. It does this when I'm actually using the data most of the time it sits on lte, when I'm not using it

Just enable them then reflash the zva radio. Thats what i did bc without reflashing it, i noticed it barely connected to B41.So I just flashed the zva radio and zva odex rom on my G2 and when I check my data screen it stills shows the band 26 and 41 as being disabled. My G2 isn't currently on the account which may have something to do with it.
The N5 may just get swapped out for a day when I go to Chicago for the auto show this weekend....

Lol but really, now it doesn't matter TWC is going to get 50mbps by the end of the year, not that I need that, but I love having the speed for anything. Now, I only needabout 1 - 3mbps lte speeds for streaming music.
-
Doesnt greater bandwith = faster speeds? Or what does it mean
-
Does the 20mhz and 10mhz in b25 and b41, mean it'll pull better speeds than my G2?
-
No, your making sense. Im hoping this is what carrier aggregation is. But using more than one band at the same, hopefully there will be devices that can do this.

Got home read this as I was uploading....... ah well, but seriously you cant even get into recovery?

I don't, I turned off the other two bands just incase there would be an issue once the Spark update rolls out. Oddly, the last few days I have been without eHRPD and my LTE signal holds on like crazy. I've seen as low as -138 dBm quite a few times. I've also had it where it won't switch to 3G for phone calls because I will suddenly have 2 voice mails just pop up randomly.
Have you called Sprint about the issue, there may be an outage or just something wrong with your device
-
Has anyone ever seen an LTE signal this low before?
Do you have band 41 active? If so it loves to jump.
-
Are you not happy with the G2?
Absolutely, I love it to death. The customizations using G2 xposed is worth it plus development is picking up. I just like the fact the the flex has well its flexible.
-
If you can try to flash philz cwm recovery you can use the back keys
-
Sadly, I have my G2 already, but I would get this if I didnt.
-
I'm sure you know how the G2 fairs with RF.
Lg Flex
PCS CDMA/EVDO - 24.11dBm
LTE Band 25 - 23.38 dBm
LTE Band 26 - 23.91 dBm
LTE Band 41 - 23.19 dBm
LG G2
PCS CDMA/EVDO - 24.80 dBm
LTE Band 25 - 23.49 dBm
LTE Band 26 - 24.48 dBm
LTE Band 41 - 21.34 dBm
I know this has been posted earlier (N5 vs G2). Does lower dbm's equal better rf performance?

Well apparently to corroborate the story as mentioned before, the guy says hes a Sprint employee... Not trying to fan the flames i just want to now if any employee can help us non Sprint employees understand if this is true
-
Not sure how credible but this is the closest to release date info for Spark Update...

I called and for two lines itll be at least 140ish plus tax... 50 + 50 + at least 20Device cost on each line = 140ish thats just for 4g speeds at 500mb. And if you dont have great credit add on the initial 300 or so for the each device deposit. Even with the device deposit you'll still be paying off the phone, and I believe this thread was already created somewhere.....
-
Well apparently on Sprints website it says as long as you have a One up plan already you can join without the 15$ add on charge

Supposedly an LG rep said near the end of March...
