  1. I was referring to the slow data speed Sprint has vs T-Mobile. Their LTE shouldn't even be called LTE when their speeds are not even to par with 3G technology. All the T-Mobile ppl I know brags about how fast their speeds are and here I am trying to even open a page. We have been promised LTE Spark for over a year now. Weren't they suppose to finish building Spark sometime this year? They are not even half way there. Their speeds are plain and simple frustrating. I am a Soldier and travel a lot. Haven't seen any improvement on any place that I have been. Just my experience
  2. I have a question. Maybe it's silly but I truly don't understand how T-Mobile started last upgrading and adding their LTE and it currently have more LTE sites and much better speed and coverage and Sprint is taking so long? Their map used to be terrible as far as coverage and they have been able to improve it a lot faster than Sprint. Also, does anyone know what is that LTE plus they just announced? They haven't fully deployed Spark and they are announcing a new LTE. We keep hearing promises of upgrading the towers and honestly, it is getting old. Thanks for the info.
  3. No workers on the antennas near my house. Not sure in what part of the island they are in. If anyone have seen workers upgrading, it would be nice if the tell us here.
  4. I agree. I love in Ponce and other than the tower near the "PONCE" letters, service seems to get worst. It seems like they are taking forever to upgrade and get decent signal and speed. It is very frustrating at times. Can't beat the price though. Lol
  5. Anyone have any idea on what those number 2 means on each site? I was looking to see if they have published any new upgrades near me or any new news but it just give us vague info. If you click on them it says two data speeds upgrades. Does it means they are done upgrading, because other than that one site, I don't see the speeds yet. Thanks
  6. This is the best pictures I could get from the HWY going to work today. Not sure how its going to look because its a litte far. Today, while taking the pics, I got 32.34 down 9.23 up. Not bad at all Sprint.
  7. I'll try. Is by a major hwy so it's hard to slow down. I'll see what I can do
  8. Last time I posted pictures here of speeds, one of the moderators got mad and told me it's not allowed. Not taking a chance. Lol
  9. They have been upgrading the antennas for what I can tell. Passed by the Ponce letters on the hwy and I got 30mpbs down and 10 up. That's what I call speed. Don't have that by my house so I'm assuming they haven't started working on the tower near me. Also noticed stronger LTE. Never had more than 2 LTE bars, now I have 3. Not sure if that is related. So far so good Sprint.
  10. I could get 1-3 and even faster with AT&T on 3G, not Verizon. That was a mistake.
  11. You are lucky to get that. Sprint doesn't offer that in many places I have need. I am in the military and rely on my phone a lot because of travel. I came from AT&T a little less than a year ago. I regret that decision every day. I haven't been to a state that Sprint gives you good LTE. Here is PR which I am currently station at, it's the worst. 6-9 will be great compared to what the rest of the island gets which is, in my experience around 1-3 for LTE. I could get faster speeds than that on 3G with AT&T or T-Mobile. And yes, you're right. Verizon left many years ago and don't offer LTE here. And it is crappy of you compared with the rest of the companies here. We can all agree that Sprint has ways to go and I believe Spark will help them. Until then, they have ways to go. I hope Sprint can get data faster here in the next 6 months, if not, back to AT&T I go. I'm sure you can get more than 6-9 Mbps in other states but I bet in those states that Sprint can get that, other companies are doing better. I travel a lot, I haven't seen sprint doing better than my Soldiers' other companies. Just saying.
  12. I would be happy if I could get at least that. It is crappy if you compare it with ATT, Verizon and even T-Mobile in many states. But when you are getting .31 mbps and when you get inside of a bld you get only 1X 3G if lucky, you can't tell me that Sprint is doing good. If they only had 6-9 everywhere to include inside blds, that would be great. Truth is, they don't. Spark can't come fast enough.
  13. That is some high upload but crappy download. Better than what I have in Ponce. Hopefully with Spark, we can see over 20MBPS downloads
  14. Lets hope it's ready by August but something tells me that they haven't started yet. I'm not sure how fast they can build.
