  1. Thanks, I'll check it out. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  2. Hi, I have been lurking here for a while as I am planning to get the g2 when my upgrade is available (next week!) Is anyone using a holster like case besides the otterbox? I have always used a seidio holster with no case, but they are not making one yet. I am thinking about a case this time, but I would want something not too bulky. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  3. I am at College and 6th Street, I had a week but usable 4g signal until a month ago. But luckily last week the 3g speeds became usable, My phone was pretty much useless before, the the 3g was so bad. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  4. I am Uptown and it depends were you are. In my building you get a fairly week signal but only near the window, and nothing in the Hearst tower across the street. And the 4g I usually get has been down the last 2 days. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  5. Yes we are out here! I love this app and being able to have the data signal in the status bar. Looking forward to the first time that 800 alert goes off.! Sent from my Nook HD+ running CM 10.1 using Tapatalk 2
  6. It's not looking better for me. I am at College and 6th. Speeds very slow today and I switched to 3g just in the cube next to mine. Usually that only happens when I go to the interior of the building.
  7. I mapped that small area on Mt Pleasant road yesterday. Took a detore on the way in today to go right by Concord Speedway and found no 4g, so maybe they were just testing
  8. I was able to do some more driving around today. I think that the tower I was picking up was at 601 and 49. Its not on the sponsors map, but its the only one that makes sense. Was not able to pick anything up on 200 at 601, but started to come back as I got closer to 49. Saw some 4G on 29 towards the speedway but it was very spotty.
  9. I had been watching this area as I had seen it on the sponsors map. I really had hoped this tower was the one we connected to at my house (it is the closest one), even though the signal we get is so weak its unusable. But seeing that strong 4g so near my house way out here was very cool . Be interesting to see how far it reaches when I head out the other direction.
  10. Came home a different way today and picked up 4g on 49 heading towards Concord, just after Harrisburg. Held it all the way to to 601. I lost it about 2 miles from my house. They must have just turned on that tower at the speedway on 601. Had driven by it just on Monday so was great to see it on now! Should show up on Sensorly soon. I'll check in the other direction in the morning.
  11. My husband sure thinks I am a bit crazy about all this. I get an eye roll when I hold up my phone and say "Look I mapped this purple spot on the map."
  12. Great news! Thanks for the update Robert. Even the three towers surrounding my house are showing in progress. They are very far away in the middle of nowhere. I will be keeping an eye on my signal out here. But having it at work is the best news. Just hope its still there when I go in today!
  13. I lose my signal just moving from my desk near the window to the center of the building. Walked across the street to the Hearst tower and still 3g there. I did map a small circle on Sensorly above my desk though! I will turn it back on when I head out for the day.
  14. Woot! It's here down a block in the Wake Forest Center as well. Speed test not that great. But better than 3g for sure
  15. I am at 6th and College (3rd floor) and no sign of 4g here yet. I have wish I could know if I was actually connecting to that tower right by me that is supposed to be lte approved! It's great to see all the progress in our area over the last month!
  16. The tower right above me at work in downtown Charlotte showed up as lte complete in the last update, but I have not seen any sign at all. Hopefully it will be on soon!
  17. I was able to map that run yesterday. In the center of Mint Hill I got a speed test of 17.5 down, 2.4 up. My husband said the 3g on his phone was very usable there as well which is not normal. I also saw much better cell signal, I usually drop to 1 to 2 bars there. Are the NV upgrades going to improve that as well? I should have filled in the rest of Albemarle road from 51 to just after merging onto Independence this morning . It used to stop just after Sharon Amity! I have also noticed Sensorly only showing my newly mapped areas when I zoom in, maybe for up to 24 hours or so.
  18. Just mapped a new section on Albemarle just past 485! Should be able to get more tomorrow heading down 51
  19. I just noticed that myself! It is right on top of my sisters neighborhood so I can check it out tomorrow. The Albemarle Rd lte is back on. I hung on to it a couple miles more than usual.
  20. Except for one day about 2 weeks ago no 4g at all for me in Charlotte. The tower I mapped on Albemarle Rd is still dark.
  21. The tower on Albemarle road in Charlotte is back to broadcasting 4G as well. I had just checked 2 days ago and it was still 3g. Maybe this is a sign of good things? Usually the 3g downtown is pretty good (as of only a couple of months ago) but this morning I cannot even stream Spotify on low quality. So ready for 4g!
  22. The tower I was picking up 4G on at Albemarle road is no longer active as well. At least we are starting to see some activity!
  23. Nice! What area are you at? I am at College and 6th, I don't see it here.
  24. I am in Uptown on the other side, near ITC and Hearst tower. Only 3G here. I'm going to drive my alternative route home to see what I can find. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  25. Caught a 4G signal on my S3 in Charlotte at the intersection of Albemarle road and WT Harris. Was able to get a speed test and mapped on sensorly! Lost the connection just before Independence Blvd Hope to see this downtown soon. The 3G downtown has improved quite a bit in the last months though, it is actually usable now.
