  1. This happened with the MXPE, to get around we pulled the SIM and connected directly to a WiFi connection, then updates were available.
Thanks I'll give that a try. I did do the updates before activating the phone, but the Sim card was installed.

  2. I am on day 2 of using this phone now, I took advantage of the deal as well. I really do love this phone, but seeing the same signal quality issues. Have not done any comparisons yet, but when traveling to work with Android auto I see the no connection symbol a lot more. Also got a GPS lost alert a couple of times.

I have a very poor signal at home already, so glad it does have wifi calling. I will have to do some comparisons with my other phone over the weekend.

I'm also disappointed that Sprint is holding back the updates. May have to invest in a simple card just for that.

  3. I'm on the beta and I just noticed the incoming call issue yesterday after the 4th update. My phone does nothing but ring. I have to unlock the screen then go into the notification area to answer the call. I don't get many calls so not sure if this is new since the update.

The only other issue I have had is wifi dropping and reconnecting periodically. Not sure yet if that's been fixed in the update.

    LG G3

My sister is still using the G3 I got at launch and it's running fine. My g2 I had before that is still alive as well, being used by my nephew.

  4. My Mom and Sister are on my family plan and they live in that area. I'm between Midland and Mount Pleasant, so not great service 's expected there! Although I did turn my Airave off a couple of weeks ago and have been getting calls with no issues. There has been much progress, but still a ways to go.

  5. I am pretty sure if signature was required it would show up on the tracking site (UPS for mine). I don't see that indicated.

As I was typing this I got my delivered notification. No signature required. My husband is charging it up for me.

  6. PSA: You will not get the free 6 apps from the Oculus store until 3/11 even if you got the device early!

Can't wait to see what the free apps are! Looking forward to trying this out. I'm sure it a way different experience than cardboard.

  7. Sam's Club has the S7Edge in Silver and the S7 in Black/Gold + $100 Gift Card

(Not sure if the silver is right since supposedly US was only getting Black/Gold)

I just reserved the S7 in black at Sams. But I am looking to pay full price and wish they showed the prices there. From what I can see at Sprint its $650, but both Target and Best Buy are showing $699. Sams does not have any pricing information.

  8. I just upgraded two of my lines using easy pay. I was charged $36 for each line for an upgrade fee. Sounds like some of you think that is not correct? Only time I have not been charged with this fee is if it was a phone that was activated on sprint before. Even when I payed out of pocket.

I take that back, when I activated a Nexus 5x there was not a fee. So easy pay counts as an upgrade. Still a big hit on the bill when getting more than 1!

  9. How is everyone liking the 5X ? I returned my 6P last week and just ordered the 5X when it went on sale today. Currently using a LG G3 which isn't a bad phone either, not sure which one I'll make the daily driver yet.

I have the LG G3 as well and just ordered the 5x. Agreed the G3 is not a bad phone, but it has not been quite the same sine the Lollipop update. This will be my first Nexus device so looking forward to that experience.

  10. I live in the Charlotte area to and I have a question. Why is it that even when I'm in an LTE area, I generally have to toggle airplane mode? Whenever I do toggle it and get LTE, I generally hold onto it but I think it's odd if I going to building and then it switches to 3G which I understand because of the spectrum, I come out I still have to toggle airplane mode. Other carriers that I've had in the past generally just grab the LTE signal and hold onto it. For whatever reason I'm just curious as to why Sprint is different. I think back in 2012 when network vision started a representative told me that it was just growing pains and fine-tuning of the network, that should not be more or less settled at this point? Also, does anyone know when or if Sprint will get voice over LTE for iPhone?

I have this same thing in the Charlotte area and am using an LG G3. Was sitting in a parking lot this morning not far from a tower on 3G, cycled airplane mode and had full bars LTE. I did not check the details at the time, it's pretty much the norm.
