The 1% is in reference to reliability. Your service works. Enjoy the service...real world usage is probably fine, which is why you stick around because you pay so little ?

ONLY because I could continue paying $80 for my unlimited plan with them, or take advantage of an opportunity to have a Sprint line for completely free. So, I chose that. Its funny to me though when people on this forum talk about other carriers, in particular T-Mobile. In LA, seeing 30-40mbps was norm, I was more surprised seeing 70+ speeds, which I saw often too. As far up as Santa Clarita, and as far down as Garden Grove, T-mo's coverage is AMAZING. Never even dropped down from LTE in the 2+ months I used it. Itll be nice once Sprint gets their backhaul updated and b26 rolling. The waiting continues Lol...

I'm a Sprint customer again as of the last two weeks, after switching to T-Mobile the 2nd week of October last year. Currently using a 6 Plus. Purchased an S5 around May of last year, and returned it for a Note 3 (Preferred the device, and I picked up no B41 across LA, at all.) Needless to say, B25 leaves alot to be desired Haha. Fast forward 2 1/2 months, and Sprint has vastly improved across Beverly Hills/Culver City/South LA/Inglewood/Torrance and more. Pick up TONS of B41 all over the place. Speeds arent too crazy, but not seeing my phone drop down to 3G and being able to stream/download as I would want to has left me impressed with Sprints progress so far, especially after waiting 2 years for Network Vision improvements. I cant wait to get that B26 love and penetration!

I am, lol. Trying to get out of my contract now, I really dont wan't to wait until next April. I had hope for Sprint and was super optimistic. Though, we all have to admit that they're dropping the ball. I had no Wimax, and I have no LTE now. Honestly, id be ok with a decent 3G network, at least i'd be able to stream Spotify, which I cant do now! My iPhone 5 is literally useless unless I'm on wifi. They're building it out, I know. But LTE was projected to launch what, 6 months ago in LA? Its almost April with no launch window in sight. As a consumer, its annoying. I can hope and dream for LTE on 800mhz. Its an amazing thought. But lets get real, its not happening ANY time soon, regardless of what they say. The promise of 4G, etc. Nothing's getting better. At least for the majority of people. Of course, tons of people are super happy. But i'm sure we can all agree the general concensus is that more are unhappy.

Why is everyone defending Sprint? They never deliver. Theres only always a "promise" that we will get something in the near furure. Sprint can't even get LTE right on 1900mhz. Still waiting for decent coverage here in LA. Let alone most of the country where it hasnt launched yet on 1900mhz, nor will any time soon. I honestly dont expect to see anything on the 800mhz ban till' 2016 or later.

Any idea why I wouldnt get LTE now, in area's where ive previously got it? Why would they turn off LTE or decrease its coverage?

Believe me I know. It just seems like whenever someone post some frustration on here, they're breaking the rules Lol I never have LTE when I absolutely NEED it, which sucks.

I was getting LTE all over LA this past week. Even got signal at my parents place in Inglewood, I was super Happy. Keep it up Sprint! Can't wait for it to launch!

I was near UCLA last night. Near Diddy Reese (Not sure of the streets). Coverage is the best ive ever had on Sprint LTE, at that location. Super fast too!

Latency for me was all over the place earlier. Im talking 200+ms and as high ass 600! LTE speeds are back to normal right now though! Getting less than 60ms ping and Download speeds of 25mbps

Towers near me are back live again. Its nice seeing LTE on my iPhone. But the speeds are AWFUL! Like 1-2mbps with full bars. So they must be doing something with the backhaul. Can't wait for it to just go live already! Officially that is!

If CONNECTED, yes, there probably would be that much of a difference in battery life. But, if the LTE radio is on, and theres no LTE network present, yes, battery is being wasted.

Yes, leaving any radio on (whether it's Wifi, LTE, or Bluetooth) WILL kill battery life when its searching for a non-existent connection every so often. And yes, I know only SOME towers are on/complete across LA. Just wondering if theres a possibility that other towers in my area ARE complete, but just weren't active for the past month during this testing phase.

Still off for me. I decided to just leave LTE turned off on my iPhone. I'm just going to wait until it actually launches. Coverage is too spotty where I am, and leaving it on just kills battery. Any insight to if Sprint turned LTE on, on only SOME of the towers near me for testing? Hoping there's more coverage once it actually launches!

LTE is also off where I am at in the SFV. I noticed speeds were absolutely awful too, right before it went out. At first, I didn't get LE signal in my apartment, but right before it went out I has a decent signal in my room! I wonder I'd they bumped up the rand kf the signal. Oh well, it's off now. Hopefully it comes back soon.

I actually wanted the EVO, glad I didnt get it now upon hearing about its LTE issus. My iPhone has NO issues as far as LTE is concerned. The radio is better than Sammies too

LTE is definitely popping up all over LA! Traveled down from Northridge yesterday. Got LTE in Hollywood, (GREAT coverage at Universal Studios), Culver City, LA of course, on the 405S near Crenshaw/Slauson, and in Downtown. But yes, its so spotty right now. Ive just decided to turn off LTE on my phone to save battery, until its actually launched and hopefully coverage is better. Just like Wimax, its great when you have it, and sucks when you dont!

I didn't know that, thanks for clarifying. I definitely feel im connected to the same tower with both. Though, Ive noticed that the LTE signal on my phone is VERY faint in my apartment, and it seems as if it may try and connect, but then just reverts to 3G. So, your reasoning sounds very accurate.

Its been really fun messing around with LTE these last few days. First, Not sure about the GS3, but the signal on the iPhone shows signal for that connection. If connected to LTE, it will show LTE signal strength. And, if you switch to 3G it reverts to that signal strength. Ive noticed that where I get LTE (say 3 or 4 out of 5 bars on my iPhone), and I turn off LTE, I have full bars on 3G. And consistent speeds of 1.5+ mb. About 1mb of upload too, its pretty nice. Though, it seems that LTE doesn't penetrate as well as 3G does, despite both operating at 1900mhz. In my apartment, literally RIGHT across the street from where I have 4 bars of LTE on my phone, I dont get LTE. I want to blame my apartment, especially since my Epic 4G Touch had AWFUL reception issues in my unit due to poor Samsung radios, where my iPhone does not. BUT, I get 3G on the iPhone. Ahhh, atleast I have 50mbps Wifi Lol

I seriously have no idea how to map it on Sensorly. Ive run speedtest, it doesnt show on the map. Nor do I see an option to map trip like on the Android version, I am on an iPhone 5.
