  1. Really? That Sucks! I can't believe they won't let you be contract free even if you buy your own device (well smartphones). I know Verizon and ATT Will let me without a 2 year contract. Hmm might have to rethink my options, i'm not really looking for a 2-year contract.

  2. I was thinking of switching to sprint, it would save me a lot of money right now. Could i go into the Apple Store and purchase a sprint iPhone 5 for $650? Would they activate for me there or could i take it home and activate it myself later?

  3. I see, in your opinion do you think it is worth it to buy the iPhone 5 outright (650$) or is it better to go with a contract, i want to stay with Verizon until sprint gets 4G in my area. It would cost me $650 to keep my unlimited 4G data.

  4. How long does it take you to use up 2 GIG of Data each month, are you even able to use that much if your on a 3G connection? I am finding it very hard to get even to that much data. If you are able to reach that 2 GIG of Data each month, what do you typically do on your smartphone?

Sorry for the errors in english, i'm not from around here.

  5. I was just down by Marina del Rey .... I enjoyed the fast sprint network I had there... along with the beautiful sun. :D

Here is a screen shot.. last two test were done there, then once I left, I was back to the slow network.ryhabaha.jpgavubenu8.jpg

I'm usually able to get 2mb down on the Verizon 3G network where ever i am. It's very reasonable.

  6. Well, it's a combination of the unlimited data and your friend's iPhone. Kind of. When Sprint added the iPhone to its lineup, the millions of extra customers looking for unlimited data overloaded the network, and the speeds collapsed.

Hmm. It seems that Verizon 3G is still faster than Sprint's . Must be what you explained it to be. When will they gain control again?

  7. I've been a customer at Verizon for awhile now. I have to say their 3G speeds are pretty good and LTE is even more amazing! I was on my friends iPhone 4S, she let me go on the internet and it was extremely slow with 4 bars! Is it true that because of unlimited data, Sprint's 3G network is getting hammered and speeds are going down?
