  1. AFAIK Akron is part of the Cleveland market. Permits have been filed everywhere from East Palestine to Sandusky. Akron will definitely see some NV love.
  2. I don't know what's going on in Avon. I need to go to their building department and get a list of permits filed since the first of the year. If permits are already filed work should start soon. Work in the Cleveland market has supposedly been going on since the beginning of this month. I haven't been able to confirm that though. I know back haul is in place on quite a few towers in my area.
  3. That probably explains my stream dropping. 4G WiMAX is available but you have an iPhone which doesn't really let you use that. Network Vision is coming soon to the area, so it won't be long. You're right near a tower though, so you should have blazing fast speeds and 100% signal on 4G and 3G.
  4. I'm just south of Avon, so close in fact that one of the towers I constantly connect to is in Avon. I drive through Avon every morning. 3G works just fine but it drops out and or gets to slow to sustain streaming audio on my phone. I'm not too sure which though because I'm usually driving. It's about a mile before you get to Detroit Road coming up 83 North, as you hand off to the cell site on the water tower.
  5. I'm in North Ridgeville, Ohio
  6. Sprint is filing permits like crazy in Cleveland proper. I'd have to check again but I think it's around 15-20 permits total.
  7. From what I can tell fiber has been ran to several towers in my area. I can't confirm whether or not it's for Sprint but with all of the fiber runs being fresh and with the info I've received from a local Ericsson tech it's very likely that it's for Sprint. Work is supposed to be starting this month. We'll know soon though. CL10XC553 CL03XC009
  8. I stream music and use Waze on 3G in 44114 all the time and have no issues. I get WiMAX from there all the way home and back, but I try not to use it because it drains my battery even while on the charger.
  9. Those aren't tower locations that it's giving you in that list. It's telling you where you where when you picked up the site. It's a somewhat recent bug in the application likely due to a screw up on the devs implementation of geo coding, it could literally be as much as a typo in the source.

    Married to it

You're not the only one. Although I'm probably a bit too butch to provide any sort of balance.
  11. San Francisco is probably telling them that it will give their babies herpasyphlaids from the added radiation. That the current radiation is already too high, and even just the slightest amount more would cause grave consequences.
  12. All of those upgrades are pre-Network Vision as far as I know. Network Vision upgrades will be much more noticable, not on that map but in real life on the network.
  13. Building permits where pulled or applied for with the City of Cleveland's Building Department.
  14. I'll probably toss these up on a map, thanks for the heads up!
  15. That's awesome info. I know of an Ericsson employee that comes to the gas station I work at all the time, he also lives in the city. I'll see what I can find out.
  16. Same here, I have to pay close attention to everything I type/send on my mobile device. People probably think I live and breathe Sprint by now. But I'm sure you have the same issue .
  17. They're not really hand offs at that point . I'm thinking the issue could be due to bad timing. Older GPS equipment on the Motorola base stations might be a bit off in comparison to the newer Samsung base stations, I might be pulling this out of my ass though.
  18. Just try to stand very still when you're on a call. Also, don't drive and talk on the phone. Your phone will probably end up being tossed out of the window. Basically. You'll drop every call everywhere for a good 6 mo to a year, possibly. Hopefully Samsung changes their tower upgrade strategy so they can minimalize these issues.
  19. It's pretty bad when auto correct is turning common words into Sprint.
  20. Just double checking, Do you mean Spring?
  21. From North Ridgeville, Ohio
  22. I figured as much. That was his closest tower but he could very well be connected to another tower in the area. It's just a bunch of driving around to do just to find one tower. It could only be one of three through.
