  1. Works just fine here. I was on LTE the entire time I was working in Westlake.
  2. There could be a new tower there that someone at Sprint forgot to add in for 3G but did for LTE.
  3. This is why I love having my HAM license. I get scanner exemption. I can be mobile with almost any type of radio equipment I want and the police can't do shit. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. It's the tower on Columbia and Center Ridge across from GetGo, behind Walgreens. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. CSFB went live at about 3am. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. Sensorly's latency measurement must be really screwed up because Speedtest.net reports anywhere from 50-90ms over LTE depending on where you're at in the city. I'm loving this LTE but I'll love it more when CSFB is enabled. That's a royal pain in my ass right now. If I want to use LTE I have to force it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. CSFB works on the tower by Walmart. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not sure I was just driving around with LTE only enabled. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. You can't get the cell site location from LTE yet... I had to drive around and find the tower it was coming from. Check out Sensorly. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. I just went and checked it out. It's the cell site on the water tower behind Walmart. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. Oh good, my reading comprehension is off Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. That's what happens when more people start using a tower. It'll get faster when more LTE sites go live. People will be put onto closer towers.
  13. That's a lot better than I saw when I went to Avon the day after they upgraded everything.
  14. I have the Nexus 5. I know I'm making an HD call because it doesn't sound like Ireland was tasked with making my cellular connection with a potato. All of the Network Vision BIDs start with 41 so for example, I'm connected to BID 41443 right now. The NID is 214 I think it used to be 29...
  15. There's some activity in the western suburbs. A huge cluster went online yesterday it seems. All of the base station IDs changed and eHRPD is active across the cluster. 3G speeds are finally consistent. HD voice works flawlessly. I've made several HD Voice calls already. They sound spectacular.
  16. Most government buildings have high efficiency windows which block high frequency signal mostly signal above 1000Mhz. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. It gets better. This is in an area with no upgrades other than possibly fiber backhaul and I'm not even sure if that's hooked up yet. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. I'll donate some bitcoin if you're willing to accept it.
  19. Work is going on in Elyria. There are several 3G 800 sites that I've been able to confirm complete. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. They're both too close to the IBEZ. Sprint could put in another site in the area. Is signal extremely week in those areas? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. Avon and Avon Lake both need at least another cell site. The population towards the city center exceeds the limits of Sprint's available spectrum. Signal is far too weak downtown. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Check out the link below, it describes what's currently going on with band 26 in our area. 30km around Youngstown and Akron are exempt, they're outside of the IBEZ apparently. http://www.800ta.org/content/resources/canadaborder.asp Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. There's a band 26 site at the LTE core / switching center in Akron so we might get lucky. They could probably do band 26 at reduced transmit power. I wish AJ could pop in and give us some insight. Band 41 is only good for short distances and outdoor use. It doesn't like water or building material. It gets absorbed pretty easily. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  24. That could be doable but it could still cause interference due to multipath propagation.
  25. I don't know if we'll get band 26 LTE because of Canada. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
