It happens when a site is ready for work.. There are sub crews as well, a crew that puts up the new panels on the tower, a crew that installs the transceivers and controllers on the ground, etc..

I got it a lot with my girlfriend when she would forget to plug her handset in to charge and it would run out of juice. I guess the polling time on a Nextel cell was a lot less then current ones.. -

I used to work for Motorola in Libertiville in the Cellular Sunscriber Sector. I was curious about those antennas once and when I had some free time working when the phones weren't defecting off the line, I used a heat gun and melted down one and what did I find?? A coil of copper wire at the core.. -

You may laugh at the flimsy ass antenna, but it did help.. LOL -
You can't tell the signal strength of a LTE signal by looking at the bars on your phone. Those bars indicate the strength of the CDMA voice signal.

It's the estimated date of completion that Robert makes based on the completion rate. Decemeber 2014 is when he is estimating it to be completely finished.

Sprint won't be saying anything until we get around 40 percent.. Last time I looked, our market was sitting at 19 percent of sites completed.

You could've shut it off in your pocket by maybe leaning against a hard object.. It's happened to me.

The tower at 11 mile and Gratiot is not accepted yet, and as such, there's no reason to expect it to be there 100 percent of the time.

I think this thread should be for the CELEBRATION of LTE coming online at various sites in the East Michigan Market!! We should celebrate each and every one of them!! For every cell site that comes online with LTE, it's another site closer to having the market completed!! Don't sweat the small stuff! For I have seen the LTE coming and it is not an empty promise like WIMAX was! Rejoice in it!! Celebrate it!!

I think alot of the things you were seeing from the Metro Detroit members has to do with the frustation from the whole WIMAX rollout empty promise and misinformation about how the NV/LTE rollout would proceed. Everyone wants it today and wants to be able to use it. When you get into that mindset, it's hard to hear a voice of reason.
