  3. That's really interesting! Thanks for sharing that. Pretty cool that all of the upgrades are staying installed. That's what's so neat about the Super Bowl every year. Each Stadium gets a massive system upgrade in rotation. Verizon has marketing partnerships with NFL for Sunday Ticket and NFL+, so I imagine that a number of these customers are with Verizon for them. https://www.verizon.com/plusplay/pdp/nfl/ https://www.verizon.com/plusplay/pdp/nflsundayticketfromyoutube/ Look at this Streaming Chart: https://www.nfl.com/ways-to-watch/ What a mess that is....
  4. https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/t-mobile-values-partnerships-both-nokia-ericsson Lots of interesting stuff here: In mid-band, T-Mobile bought 3.45 GHz and C-band spectrum licenses to enhance its 2.5 GHz holdings. T-Mobile had been holding off on the deployment of that newer spectrum until it had dual-band radios that could operate at both frequencies; they now have those radios, he said.

  7. More info here: https://dasgroupprofessionals.com/verizon-and-t-mobile-say-yes-to-major-connectivity-enhancements-at-allegiant-stadium/ Allegiant Stadium, the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders, is getting a major upgrade to its wireless network, delivering even faster and higher quality service to its fans in and around Allegiant Stadium. The venue-owned Distributed Antenna System (DAS) will provide another generation of enhancements to its already seamless service that supports fan calls, texts, uploads and downloads. The first on to the system are Verizon and T-Mobile, offering their subscribers superior connectivity during the biggest game of 2024, in February.
  8. Interesting news on T-Mobile’s prep for the Super Bowl and how it compares to the Las Vegas Grand Prix: https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/t-mobile-shifts-f1-grand-prix-role-overdrive In preparation for the Super Bowl, which will be held for the first time in Las Vegas in February, T-Mobile plans to deploy permanent small cells in areas immediately outside the stadium to better serve tailgaters and fans around the stadium. T-Mobile doesn’t expect to deploy COWs like it is for F1 as its macro network will be able to support customer demand for the Super Bowl.
  9. The T-Mobile Website is showing all of my lines as having the same usage address and same E-911 address.... which isn't what it shows on my devices. Great. So I call 611.... and it's a 30 minute wait to speak with someone. The website also won't let me change plans without speaking with someone. How "Uncarrier".....
  10. I paid off the three iPhone 14 Pro’s with T-Mobile and then did the Trade-In to Apple. I then ordered three iPhone 15 Pro’s from Apple on my Apple Card with Apple Pay. Until T-Mobile fixes this, I’ll be doing my Apple upgrades directly with Apple, and saving the credit limit for other non-Apple lines.
  11. https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/t-mobile-5g-covers-98-us-population-other-countries-lag-moore On yesterday's Q3 2023 earnings call Ewaldsson said, "We have now 70% of the payload is 5G on the network. As we continue to see more and more 5G traffic, that means we can move over frequencies that are used for LTE into 5G." He added, "We have this enormous spectrum asset in mid-band, which is where the home Internet products are residing that we can continue to leverage. We have more spectrum than anyone else has on mid-band as a potential. By the end of the year, we are approaching 200 megahertz that we will have dedicated for 5G products."
  12. Probably a lot of legacy units/process/equipment which has been deprecated and the cost savings are realized over time? I imagine this number will eventually drop to zero.
  13. Thanks. Is each of those stages going to require additional gear/climbs on the tower sites or can there be a software push for each?
  14. Will they be able to deploy Ultra Capacity to the remaining Extended Range footprint? What's the plan going forward from here?

  16. Thanks. Looks like this is how it's going to have to be. Hard to believe. T-Mobile has really turned into a clown show. They just don't care.
  17. BTW I finally got my answer back from T-Mobile Corporate: Thank you for your email. We have submitted your feedback to the department that oversees the policy regarding the amount available to finance. Regrettably, the Equipment Credit Limit cannot be increased outside the approved specific scenarios from any department. I regret any confusion I may have caused on how we send up feedback. So it looks Iike I'm stuck with a $1,500 Credit Limit as a 20+ Year Customer with 7 phone lines/2 watch lines until their 6 months re-review sometime in December. We have three iPhone 14 Pro lines we want to upgrade to 15 Pro via trade-in. Uncarrier my @$$.
  18. Pour one out for Sprint. For all its faults, we still had it pretty good:
