  1. Just got an email

Due to upcoming upgrades to Sprint's network, Sprint will no longer be supporting the Google Voice with Sprint integration. This change affects any Sprint customers who use their Sprint number as their Google Voice number, or any Google Voice users who use their Google Voice number on their Sprint phone through Sprint's built-in Google Voice integration features. This change does not affect customers who use Google Voice with a Sprint forwarding phone but have not enabled the "Google Voice with Sprint" integration; only the integration is being disabled. Users with the "Google Voice with Sprint" option enabled will see a Sprint icon at the top of their legacy Google Voice settings page.

What changes on June 1, 2018 if you are using Google Voice with Sprint integration?

  2. Whats the rush?  get everything up and running, lease established, etc.  then take care of paying off.
I kept asking them what the purchasing option would be after the lease was over in 18 months and they both quoted the full price. I just wanna make sure. Maybe they've gotten hip to it. I thought theyd have a lot of calls about it. Maybe I should stop in a store.

  3. Nope, I think because my account still has the subsidy flag.  I got the option to add a line for 29.99/month, Plus the $5/month lease, plus $25.00 up front.
Can you set up a brand new account not associated with your ed1500? And just cancel after you pay off lease

  4. I can't get the discount being on ED1500, i think its because one of my lines is still utilizes a subsidized discount from a year ago.
    For me would it be $25 + $90 ($5/month 18 months) +$145 lease payoff?
Oh really? How about just setting up a new line with a new plan. Then canceling?

  5. Tried ordering last night. I don't wanna replace a line, but I already have 5 limes on my ed1500 plan. Gonna try today to get exception for my 6th line and then pay off lease. Then cancel the 6th line. All my subs are iPhones except mine. And I don't wanna lose my eligibility just yet.

Was the credit automatic or did you ask for it? I have 1500 legacy plan too.

  7. I've had a couple e-mails about this.. the light/dark color switching is completely controlled by the OS. There are no options on the developer side to configure how that works. Others who reported this issue had custom ROMs or launchers installed, so it's likely related to some sort of customization like that. It adjusts properly on stock ROMs.

    -Mike

Ah ok thanks Mike. I do have nova installed. But not a custom rom just regular ol Samsung s7e. I only brought it up because every other black/white icon I have handles the light/dark thing pretty seamlessly. So I thought it was an easy fix. Thanks tho!

  10. Well it is for display purpose since they didn't even set it up properly. It's still on the setup page!

Does anyone have pics of what the display screen looks like when its set up. Surprised it had a display screen.

  11. Hmm... That is odd.

Perhaps it is a false rumor I've heard many times in the past, but people have told me the physical stores for all carriers, not just Sprint, already have equipment to increase their signal somewhere located on the properties, such as roofs. I suppose if that were true, there wouldn't be a need for these Magic Boxes inside the stores, unless these are being used to replace that other equipment.

He told me it was almost for display purposes. The mall has a site on top of it. So it def wasn't necessary. I would think it would have an official display sometime soon if it was for demo purposes.
