Yea this is the same thing I said and thought. I mean it does make sense that the back haul would take more time since it is dependent from Sprint. But Sprint should try and speed the back hauls, calling the companies early and letting them know ahead of schedules. But I don't really know so that's just my opinion. -- Chris

I am sorry if you took it as if I knew, I am not sure it was merely my opinion based on what I know. Hopefully Robert or someone who knows more can help us out. -- Chros

I would say the towers yes, but the backhaul is probably done way before. Unless that can also be done in less than a week that would be pretty amazing. -- Chris

I need Brooklyn to catch up fast, near my college I always have unusable speeds. I rather have LTE in Brooklyn that Bronx cause if I am in Bronx I am home and on Wi Fi. Like Robert stated in earlier in his post it makes sense that Manhattan is late on LTE they have a huge amount of towers and imagine for the tech guys getting around Manhattan it must really not be so productive. The traffic, the people and all the complications. I am actually happy at the progress, just that in certain places it needs to speed up. -- Chris

Most likely yes, They aren't going to get fired or put out of work temporary there is work to be done all over. My guess to why Bronx got quickly done is probably because of the internet speeds, we have very fast speeds around Bronx and you can get it everywhere and maybe because of easy access to this amount of speed it was easy to add to the back haul? Does this make sense? This is my guess based on my experience of internet connectivity that is available in the Bronx. -- Chris

I mean we can't complain much. Just a few month before that when I joined the site there wasn't much towers anywhere, It is astonishing on how a matter of months you get so many sites up. While I sit here and ask myself why isn't the performance showing, we have to understand NYC hasn't gone live yet. So I would say NYC is going fast rather than slow. -- Chris

Wow the Bronx is going to be done before the summer at the pace it’s going. I am really excited to see network vision done. The memories of how Sprint was an unusable service which came to be usable everywhere will be in my head forever. Thanks Robert for creating this site. -- Chris
-
This is sooo true. 10 Weeks ago it NV was so little like 2 towers in Bronx. Now it is like everywhere. Can't wait can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- Chris
-
Wait! It will be worth it, I am also losing it but! I am keeping my cool. Because I have hope that Sprint will be the fastest wireless carrier, and become the best like it once was (I think sprint was once the best, not sure) Also because Sprint is the only unlimited carrier. -- Chris

Thanks Robert and Brooklyn -- Chris

Yes you are right, but what I am saying why isn't it determined by the bars. I guess maybe cause the Bars do the CDMA and 3g? Idk what I am talking about someone should clear things up for me -- Chris
-
I still don't understand, the signal bars should indeed indicate LTE. I mean how else would you know xD I wouldn't want to go in the settings all the time. Do you happen to know how it works on the iPhone? -- Chris
-
Thank you for clearing that up. I love this site, I always learn something new. Education is very valuable. Once again thanks. -- Chris
-
The speed was horrible but you have to take a look at the signal, he doesn't have much bars. -- Chris
-
I searched them up and found a match. Thanks Robert. I guess it's cause I am younger that I never heard of these. Wow they are really funny. -- Chris
-
I really enjoyed this, thanks for posting. I looked up a couple more. -- Chris

There's LTE in the next block near my house, this is in bronx woodstock. Funny thing is I don't see no LTE towers near by. -- Chris
-
I don't think the work was done in a month and a half, if so that we should see the whole Bronx covered by february. I hope this would be the case. -- Chris
-
I feel this question is rather easy to answer, Sprint is moving faster and faster IMO so I could see the majority of NYC covered by March or April. This is just my opinion though. -- Chris
-
Robert you are actually correct, they are advertising it not promising, what was I thinking... Also Tybo I have always been wondering the same thing. If boost customers get the same service for less of regular sprint customers what's the point of being a Sprint customer? Also Boost customer have unlimited everything for less. While currently they don't have 4G LTE, what happens if they get it in the future? The only benefit I currently see is getting top tier phone's that boost doesn't offer. I hope Sprint does something to keep Sprint customer on priority! Also on the side note, I haven't been happy with my Sprint speed's but since I know a fix is coming I am extremely happy with my Sprint service. Can't wait till everyone is talking about how awesome Sprint LTE is -- Chris
-
Remember Sprint only promeses 6-8 on the download, if the network is at peak performance that's 25 down. Basically what I am saying when a lot of people jump on 4G it will slow down. Can any tell me otherwise? Also what are Att and Verizon speeds like?
-
I heard you complain so much through out all these month's. I am finally glad to see you getting LTE. That must be pretty amazing in your case. Slow 3G and all the sudden the fastest connection, in fact it is most likely Faster than your Wi-Fi. Once again congrats on waiting it out!
-
Those of you in the Bronx that are getting LTE and fast speeds are very lucky over here a woodstock our speed are still in the 0.15 Aww man, I need fast speed and I want it now!!! With all seriousness I could wait.. I only been waiting 1 year. -- Chris
-
This is what I think and I hope Robert could say otherwise I hope. But in my area ever around October I am now getting more bars at home before it was always 3 or 2 now I get 4 bars, I think They added new antennas because I am now getting more signals. speed is a whole lot faster at night but still remains slow in the day

Sprint engineering study
LookInToMyEyes replied to Proxcee's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I personally believe Sprint's network will always be slow until they limit and remove unlimited data. To many people will be hogging the network. That's why I believe Version and ATT removed it, it is just not possible to sustain a fast network with unlimited data. Any opinion?
