  1. Well thank you so much for trying to help me, I appreciate it man, thanks -- Chris
  2. Aww sprint is never helpful and I don't want to waste my time, screw it I will stay with no service -- Chris
  3. It could be 5 Bars but it still doesn't place the call, but keep in mind its 5 bars at a moment but then it changes randomly -- Chris
  4. My overall service, even with 3G disabled I can't make calls or send text. I don't have 4G on my iPhone 4S -- Chris
  5. My signal is going at it again, it goes to 5 bars than back to 0,3,2 bars. Do you think its Sprint or do you think my phone is just dying Btw I can't send text or place calls. I hope it isn't my iPhone -_- -- Chris
  6. Well that's maybe because your phone uses more power to connect to 4G when it's plugged but designed to use less power when disconnected to save battery, That's why when you go on a call it uses more battery to maintain the call. That's why you get more bars while on a call vs not in a call. -- Chris
  7. Weird encounter last night my signal kept spazzing out, lol it went from low to full and kept doing that back and forward for 2 hours, at first I thought it was my phone so I turned it off, problem still persisted so I guess they working on my tower again. Today I was traveling the Bronx and Sprint speeds are now decent at least IMO I was loading images and website rather quickly. -- Chris
  8. Wow here in NYC we are on a blizzard warning. LTE will be delayed, no work will be done for the next few days -- Chris
  9. LOL I know man we all want it fast, but it will. Well whenever the next wireless technology comes it will be implemented much quicker and faster than LTE for Sprint. Sprint is redoing all there towers getting new back haul and new tech. Basically its a BRAND new network. So once the new tech is announce all Sprint has to do is upgrade their network rather then replace it all like what they are doing now. -- Chris
  10. I would disagree with you on that, but its your opinion and we all have one. Keep in mind that your area can go from no LTE to LTE in matters of months. -- Chris
  11. Oh right I believe I have heard of this type tech idea. It is meant so that people always connect to Wi-Fi when available so this is on all new Verizon Android phones only? -- Chris
  12. I would wish Sprint would start advertising this, safe network practice should come with every new Sprint cellphone. Some would argue that's what they are paying for, while true you don't want a slow network. -- Chris
  13. Actually I am impressed too, 5 Miles is pretty amazing, At least in my opinion. -- Chris
  14. Maybe the wind took down a tower xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD -- Chris
  15. A tower near my house has 4G only now, my question is will this tower ever be 3G? Not that I want it too. 4G is better anyways. -- Chris
  16. Correct, I don't think Optimum ever used powerboost. I know comcast did or still does. -- Chris
  17. If you get 50+ you have Optimum boost. Regular tier is 22Mbps. -- Chris
  18. I haven't had signal all day, currently I am getting 1 to 2 bars. I am not mad at all I am actually excited to see the outcome. I am not sure if this is due to network vision or not but hopefully it is and my 3G speeds increase. -- Chris
  19. Lets stay realistic here, that test is not amazing at all. It was done at 9AM not many people on the network. But I am still glad to see speeds that fast. -- Chris
  20. Everyone who choose to stay with Sprint did the best decision in their life, Sprint is changing, Sprint is starting new, what more can anyone want? Sprint is using new technology to delivery the best service possible, I am not just saying that I believe that! New towers, and technology packed into every 1 tower spread over 30,000 towers they have. Now that's truly amazing. Sprint -- Chris
  21. I am not sure, but I remember that's what everyone used to have and talk about. So I would guess they were once that good? -- Chris
  22. I honestly believe that depending on how well Sprint does in the NYC Market it will determine how well Network Vision changes their customers mind. If Sprint fails to deliver well I would expect the downfall of Sprint. By the end of february I expect LTE in more places, how ever I know NYC won't be half complete. By June I expect NYC nearing completion. I just want Sprint to claim #1 spot in fastest and most stable network, they once were king right? -- Chris
  23. You think LTE will reach 8-10 miles from 1 tower? I don't think so.
  24. I remember when optimum was very slow :/ only 15 down and 2 up, now they have more tier plans and their speeds are very good. Actually they are excellent. I hope more work is being done to further increase speeds and lower latency Would be awesome to see Optimum fiber or something better start rolling out, not that its needed but the faster the better when it comes to internet speeds. Demand is only going to increase etc. Back on topic, I would assume optimum is the primary supplier of internet for sprint in the New York area and not Verizon. I mean Optimum light path is for businesses. -- Chris
