John, I've been having issues connecting to LTE on my GNex running CM10.1 as well. I've only been able to connect 1 time and it took quite some effort on my part. Might be an issue with CM if others are having the same problem too Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I went to canyon park yesterday evening and was unable to connect to LTE. Had really poor 3G speed too. About 0.03 down and 0.20 up. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Does the new update work with API 17?
-
Yeah, I tried that. I think it's actually an issue with my ROM not having the correct radios. I flashed them last night after I got home so I'll have to give it another try.

Thanks for all the hard work Mike. I'll be eagerly checking the play store for the update. Edit: Got the update. Some nice changes. The notification is much nicer and the expanded help is going to be a big plus for any non technogeek users. Thanks again. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Do you have the GPS Status app? I had the same issue when I first flashed 4.2. I was able to fix it by cycling GPS on and off then downloading the AGPS data. I haven't had any problems since. Just flashed 4.2.1 2 a few days ago and everything is still working fine.

Well I'm seeing an LTE signal strength, but my phone won't connect to it. It's a " phantom" signal. I am seeing a signal again though, this is from my work on First Hill in Seattle I am using Sensorly so as soon as I can actually connect to the LTE it should map. I don't use my phone around the house much at all. I actually have 2 tablets, a Nexus 10 and a Kindle Fire running Android 4.1.1. The nexus 10 is used pretty much exclusively in the house. I use it for YouTube videos, magazines, games, pretty much everything. I use Google Voice too so I can even text from my tablet. The kindle is exclusively for reading, I rooted it and installed jellybean so I could get my play books on it too. Phone only ever gets used when I'm out since the Nexus 10 is too big to carry around.

I can't get my debug menu to open. Using the *#*#DEBUG#*#* command but nothing happens. Any thoughts? I'm rooted running a AOSP based 4.2.1 build
-
That's from my house in Lynnwood. I had been seeing that "phantom" LTE signal from my work in Seattle (First Hill) as well, and now it's gone too.

My mysterious LTE signal has disappeared. I had been seeing this for a week: The app was showing an LTE signal, but it wouldn't connect to the LTE network. Then yesterday the signal dropped off greatly and now today I have this: Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
