  1. Wow, I just checked my profile and it has been two years and one week since I joined. I lost track of how many times Sprint has lied to me with the "LTE is coming to your area in the next 30 days" line. Funny, now that Sprint finally has decent data access and speeds, they want to move everyone off of Unlimited plans on the that Framily crap.
  2. Looks like Sprint finally came through in Northeast Oregon. I am getting 4G LTE in Hermiston, La Grande, Pendleton and parts of Boardman. I don't suppose anyone has a new coverage map for those areas?
  3. I guess the texts were partially correct. I was in La Grande, Oregon 97850 last weekend when the 4G LTE arrows lit up on my Note 2. Nothing back home or in larger towns yet. You would think Sprint would upgrade the city with a higher population first, but La Grande does have a four year university. I guess Sprint is targeting younger users.
  4. I got a text from Sprint stating that my "network is nearly upgraded". Does that mean that we are finally getting LTE? Pendleton, Oregon. Plus the surrounding Oregon cities of Hermiston, La Grande, Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla, Washington.
  5. I don't rememer who I talked to earlier in the year, but August 31st was Jose at *2 and today was Russel at *2. Both placed me on hold for an extended lenght of time while checking with people who should know what is going on. If Sprint follows its usual timeline "complete upgrades by mid-2014" will become "by the end of next summer" which will then be "complete upgrades by mid-2015" again. The thing that really burns me is that the techs were up there working on the downtown tower ALL SUMMER and they didn't bother to add LTE. There is plenty of room on top of that building for a new cabinet. And eventhough they "upgraded" it I still can't get more than 36Kbps from 3G.
  6. Guess what, Sprint lied! First they said that all of Oregon will get LTE in 2013. Then they said that Pendleton would get LTE by the end of August and that was the reason for all the data outages. I called on August 31st and was told that the tower upgrade would be complete by September 20th. Slow/No data all weekend so I just called and was told that Sprint never had any plans for LTE in Pendleton, and that they DID upgrade the downtown tower but didn't bother to add LTE while they were working up there. Super pissed about being lied to.
  7. As long as the LTE signal cuts through the trees better than wimax, I am happy to wait. *2 just told me that the new date to hope for is September 20th.
  8. It has been almost a year since I have checked in on this site and I still haven't seen an LTE signal while traveling across Oregon and Washington. Sprint must be working on something locally, because our data has been down for most of August. Can I get an update on when Sprint plans to turn on LTE for Hermiston and Pendleton Oregon?
  9. Is the downtown Seattle LTE available around the Space Needle and EMP?
  10. I drove Salem to Hood River, I-5 and I-205 this weekend and got nothing.
  11. Installed on my Note 2. Will test with screen rotation turned off when I go on my 900 mile road trip through LTE areas next month.
  12. I will be driving down I-5 next month to Roseburg and am wondering if there is a setting or an App than can alert me if my Note2 picks up and LTE signal?
  13. Do you have a map showing planned LTE sites in the NE Oregon (Hermiston - La Grande) and Southeast Washington (Richland, Kennewick, Walla Walla) areas?
  14. Is it possible to use a different PRL on your phone to detect and use these legacy Pre-WiMax signals?
