Any word on CSFB problems in the Kansas City area? I recently upgraded to an LG G2 from a Moto X and went from having LTE coverage 95+% of the time to about 20% of the time with frequent total loss of signal. I've cross checked this with my Zing hotspot and my old Moto (that my wife now carries) and the G2 has 3G only and ocassionally no signal at all even when stationary in areas with great coverage. The Zing hotspot bounces around between towers and bands (I pick up 41 in most places around where I live in the urban core) seemlessly whereas the G2 very rarely will pick up LTE at all and even then will often drop it right away in places with very strong signal. I told Sprint about it and they exchanged handsets which had no effect on the problem. This is a market that has Spark launched and has had most towers updated for more than a year so wondering if the CSFB is still a plausible explanation here? I also wonder if the Spark software update might be the culprit? When they replaced my handset I waited to install the Spark update for a while and LTE seemed to be working better (though still not as well as on my Zing hotspot) until I installed the Spark update.
