  1. Has no one heard of Worth Avenue Group? Drop that TEP crap and get a College Plus coverage plan. I pay 66.20 PER YEAR after finding a code on retailmenot and it covers all our phones - my phone, my wife's, my kid's, my TV's, dvd players, pc's, etc. I believe it even covers clothing! I've had my gs3 screen replaced and a tv covered. $2000 PER CLAIM and only $25 deductible. Check it out! (I am not a paid person - I really tell everyone I know about this...)
  2. Unfortunately, when you zoom in it lloks less impressive...
  3. The only downside to LTE coming live in Chicagoland is the traffic on this post is getting less and less exciting. I'm still waiting/hoping for some LTE love in DeKalb and the loop to get saturated with it. That keeps me active in Sensorly and on this site! Anyone seeing anything in Rochelle, Ottawa, or anything near DeKalb yet?
  4. It would seem to me (although I'm not Robert, whom you addressed) that you think you are getting LTE from Wilson and Western but are really getting LTE from Irving Park being that it is signal strength dependant. That would explain slower speeds by your house compared to 6 blocks away...
  5. LTE rounding blommer's chocolate on the metra where i normally get 1x. kept it all the way into the station. none in the market. got it outside walking and in my building! It's not the fastest right now, but @ 1.3-ish down, it's waaay faster at my work than what my 3g used to be.
  6. Well that just sucks! I would love to have these speeds out here in DeKalb. I wonder how long till work gets underway. For now since i have Wi-Fi at home, my main hope is that the west loop and the Wheaton area get hooked up soon so my train ride gets reasonably less crappy without needing to drink!
  7. I am liking it creeping into the loop too! Just outside of Olgilvie Train Center on Madison I can pick up LTE. not the fastest here, but per the maps I think i am kind of far from the tower. I kept it walking east on Madison until just a bout the river. Can't wait for the full upgrades in the loop as I get 1x in most spots of the building I work in. Keeping hope alive with each little finding of LTE! Now if Rockford and Chicagoland start merging to get LTE working around NIU, I'd be a very happy man!
  8. I can't wait for west loop love! in and out of Ogilvie data is for nothing and by Madison and Wacker i can barely get good data. I think I average about 20 kbps down. The more that fills in on Sensorly is really getting me charged too! This new network is appearing VERY promising!! (side note to Robert - I changed back to Freegs3 and 4g is working great again - but I miss CM10 badly!!)
  9. I was in Batavia and aurora today and hoped to fill in senaorly a bit more. Unfortunately, not monitor showed lte and stuck that way but I had no internet at all. I rebooted multiple times, airplane mode, CDMA and back to let mode. Still nothing. After heading west of elburn,I finally got back into evdo. Could've been something with the cm10 ROM, couldve been the lte? Either way, sorry mission not accomplished here...
  10. Very pleased to say I not only got 4g from Elmhurst to glen Ellyn on the metra, but during that time I got 32.06 down!!! Holy crap I love this! I actually brought my touchpad with to tether and stream Netflix today. Sprint's network is becoming usable again and I am a happy man! Yes Robert and the team behind the writings have saved sprint customers. I am one who makes this statement true because of the info I have learned on this site. Thanks to all of you for the valuable information!
  11. Looked like Elburn LaFox and Batavia must've been just in testing... went through Saturday morning, had lte. Went through later in the day, no more. Wah wah. We'll see tomorrow morning. Also I drove into Chicago and no I got no lte anytime I checked in or out on I-88.
  12. 4g in elburn and lafox so far! Getting 10 Mbps down!!
  13. If you don't mind me asking, what part of the east side of st chas were you by?
  14. I was getting only evdo in Lombard ever since the lte went away after testing was done. I'm happy to report that the entire trip between Chicago and Elburn on the Metra train was ehrpd. Speeds weren't always good, but better than they have been in certain areas. I can't wait for lte to come live!!
  15. Oh and I am getting eHRPD now from Wheaton all the way into and in the West loop. Except Lombard. fter LTEwas no longer available, now I only get EVDO revA. Getting better little by little!!
