Has LG announced pie for any devices? I would think the G7 would see it first.

There hasn't been any device manufactured to make such a bold statement but if we're only referring to LG then the G7 thin Q and v35 thin Q AKA Android One would be the first to get pie.

I got a 707.3 MB Software update today.

It says it improves camera features and Android assistant (google Lens). Optimizes performance & includes android security updates.

After the update my phone rebooted then said LG G6 ThinkQ then went to a white screen and got stuck on the White screen with the word Sprint and the Sprint Logo above it. After 15 minutes on that screen I couldn't take it anymore and I held the volume down and the power button at the same time until it rebooted again. The update finished after the reboot and the phone is fine now.

    So no pie :(

  3. The real question is how will they merge the carriers networks for consumers.

IMO Google Project fi has done a successful job in this, well they take note and follow suit. It would be practical at least in my observation to keep both Networks intact.

I'd be happy with a better radio firmware. I still see the places where my note 5 was great on magic box reception and the note 8 doesn't pick up at all... Hopefully we get something soon.

How does one go about getting a magic box?!

  6. One: call Sprint or just watch ur Bill to verify the credits come off.

Two: Calling in and inquiring about loyalty credits and asking about service issues and for ur time and energy, ask for a credit or activation fee waived.

    Thank you.

  7. More and more reports are coming in from Galaxy Note 8 community members on Google Plus about receiving the device today the 5th of September and they're all CDMA customers.

Well BGR and Tech websites you were wrong, T-Mobile will not be the first to hand their customers the Galaxy Note 8 after all.

  8. On the Samsung Galaxy Note 8? Do you have one?

You and others need to stop with these unsubstantiated generalizations about HPUE -- based on one handset that may be just a mediocre band 41 performer.

    Agreed!

Every experience is different to each user depending on their location

  9. Inquiry

As stated already I got the G6 through the Best Buy deal on the 18th

My question is how do I go by ensuring that the Loyalty credits are applied and second what's the best method of contacting Sprint to get the activation fee waived.

Btw my billing cycle comes at the end of the month and I want to make sure this is addressed before hand.

  10. So all that toting about 600 megahertz how great the Network's improving means absolutely nothing if T-Mobile and yes it's T-Mobile not allowing handset Developers to add capable devices to the current Network specifications. In other words T-Mobile A Carrier at Heart is micromanaging the handset makers.

Be it known this is not the first time they've done that if you would recall Motorola fiasco plus others so they have a history of this.

Well at least Sprint does have several devices capable on its network of HPUE to support its current Network.
