  1. That's great!

This ship is back on course.

I know Sprint has been busy. This week I've noticed my spark device switching from band 26 to 41 meaning I'm finally going to experience spark in my area of 76009.  I was getting 30-32Mbps dl and now I've been on band 41 with speeds of 60Mbps dl. Wickedly Awesome.

Great job Sprint, keep the course and give her full speed ahead warp factor 5.

Ps. link to photo pics on band 26/41 & speed tests

  2. This may yet be a blessing in disguise for Sprint as freed up money could lead to buyout of smaller cellular companies to add to it's network expansion as well as  improvements. Turning a profit and ramp up for next years action. Sprint's sugar daddy, Masayoshi Son, at Softbank can make that happen.

On the other hand tmobile future doesn't look at all good. With the failed combined joint spectrum auction blockade by the FCC it will have no means to raise enough money needed and coupled with the fact DT is still pursuing to dump them off to the highest bidder and get out of the US market. Apparently Iliad is supposed to be bidding again along with Dish, Cox, and Charter's help. If this is true, you can say goodbye to Uncarrier as those 3 companies are looking for profit immediately. They;re going to want to raise prices all around to justify their purchase.

Let's see how the story unfolds. Turn the page....

  3. Just goes to show

“You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”

Thanks for the heads up, very informative. I knew it was coming to Sprint but this information was unpublished at the time. Also thanks for the input in regards to the Note 3 band limitations and looking forward to read more on it when you guys publish it.

    Keep up the great work.

  4. The maps above showed the sites complete at the time of the article (yellow), and the sites that were scheduled to be live at launch (green). So these maps do not show coverage in the future.Alvarado will indeed get 4G LTE coverage. Sites are still being deployed, even though the launch has occurred. The market will not be 100% complete until late Fall or early Winter. 4G LTE coverage will be over all the 3G coverage areas by the time the market is complete.Robert

That clarifies it. Thanks very much Robert, I feel a piece of mind just knowing that.

  5. Robert I know in the past I've asked about Alvarado, Tx 76009-4003 in regards to LTE and I do remember you letting me know it would be covered under the DFW sector.

However as I see the maps 76009 does not even come close to any towers with LTE expansion from Alvarado to Venus to Midlothian up until right before it hits Cedar Hill & Cleburne TX east and west.

Please explain to me so that I can be assured that we won't be left behind in regards to LTE.
