  1. Yankeeeeeees! I was at Brooklyn Boulders over the weekend and mapped out the area, plus a good 20 min trail going north on Atlantic.
  2. 3G is pretty solid on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
  3. Green Acres Mall is a dump. Avoid that place like the plague. Roosevelt Field or go home, plus what AJ said.
  4. I pass through that area daily since I have to go Penn Station to get home, plus to get to work. I haven't noticed any LTE there in that area, but there seems to be a live NV 3G cluster since 3G speeds are quite good. File a report with the authorities?
  5. That is correct, AT&T gets first dibs since they are the wireless sponsor of the Yankees. In other news, being at the stadium these last two nights made me notice some gaps in the 4G LTE coverage zone at the stadium. By the Grand Hall (Gate 6), I had approx 3 bars of LTE (on AOSP), but at my seats in Sec 136 (next to visiting bullpen) I strugged to get data connectivity in general. No 3G/4G. Sensorly does show that the stadium is covered, but I assume that the OEM's had the towers down for maintenance.
  6. Looks like a 3G cluster went live recently also in the area of 68th and York in Manhattan. Had some pretty solid speeds on 3G prior to LTE coming back online shortly thereafter.
  7. Nice. I work in the area and confirm that LTE was taken down for maintenance or w/e it is that it goes down for these days.
  8. There's a reason this site exists. These guys have insider info that neither you or I have. Stop questioning everything they say since they know a lot more about each individual aspect of Sprint's roll out than you or I ever will. At least mine don't take up a full page
  9. A new tower or two must have been lit up near my office (68th & Lex > 70th bet. 2nd + 3rd).
  10. Isn't that what they are supposed to be at/around? I haven't seen a ping higher than 67 ms since I began running tests with LTE active.
  11. I'm there right now, but I'm not getting any LTE EDIT: I lied, there it goes. 68th & York. EDIT 2: Seems to be in the mid 6 mb/s range DL and low 3's for UL.
  12. Maybe when they were first launched or in cities that aren't highly populated, but I can guarantee you that speeds that high no longer exist except for those clowns running speedtests at 3 AM. None of my friends on VZW/AT&T top 10 mb/s on their devices. Don't get me wrong - the speeds are serviceable for their needs, but I hate seeing those outlier speeds and then everyone thinks that shit is crazy. It's a hoax.
  13. Picked up LTE inside my office. Surprised to say the least lol.
  14. A little birdie came to visit me during my walk to 51st St.
  15. I wish it was easier for AlcaLu to work on the UES. I'm just patiently waiting for LTE coverage to spread towards my office on E 70th.
  16. Probably the best of all the major carriers. Everyone I know on VZW doesn't get remotely close to those kinds of numbers on 3G.
  17. Oh, I know. I have family that lives in Suffolk that I see very often. I live in Nassau now and not one issue, yet. Either way, I'm excited for what's to come this year for us New Yorkers.
