  1. I drove Corridor H from 81 to Lost River on vacation 3 years ago. There was a surprising amount of LTE, back then, in bizarre little places, but other than that I literally had no service almost the entire way. Not even roaming. Of course I had an EVO LTE at the time, so maybe that was part of the problem...! Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  2. In the northern part of the Philly market here, I'd say at least the last year I am pretty much on LTE all the time. Even out in the boonies where I live. The only time I see 3G is when I'm inside a store or large building. And even then, more often than not it's LTE. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  3. Got my phone back yesterday! (Took long enough!) I actually think it's a new device. It came with a new SIM card and the IMEI is different. Also there was a scratch on the back that I can no longer locate! All I paid was the $12 or so I spent to ship it. They paid the return shipping via UPS. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  4. Well, got word from HTC this afternoon that my phone has been repaired and will apparently arrive tomorrow! No mention of a cost so I guess it was covered under warranty! Sent from my 0PAJ5 using Tapatalk
  5. Chatted with HTC and I described the problem (didn't mention dropping) and they said it should be covered by warranty. Sent it away for repair two days ago. Sent from my 0PAJ5 using Tapatalk
  6. HTC said I have to go through Sprint. I can't believe they don't have a warranty that's not Uh oh Protection. 5 years ago when I had the EVO Shift, I had a problem with my screen, and I sent it in and they repaired it. I don't think I paid anything. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  7. Well I'll find out soon! Gonna go online later and look into it. How does that work? Do you have to send the broken one in? Or do they send the replacement first? Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  8. I think only if you bought it direct from HTC. But it should have a warranty regardless... Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  9. I dropped my phone on a sidewalk, with a case on it, and now the screen does weird things. I don't even know how to explain it, except that anywhere where there's white text there is a band that goes up and down the whole phone. FML Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  10. Did you try a profile or PRL update? Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  11. How many people on the plan? 243,000 minutes = more than 6 months! Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  12. All of a sudden, with no apparent firmware or app updates, the screen shot compressing during a text issue is fixed now! I have sent several today and they have been a good quality (no pixelation). Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  13. Maybe "hard reset" isn't the term I mean. On my previous HTC phone (EVO LTE and One E8) I could hold power and volume up and it would come up and say "Continue holding for x seconds to restart". It was supposed to simulate a battery pull. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  14. Power and volume down is screen shot. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  15. How do you do a "hard reset" on this phone? Holding power and volume up doesn't seem to work anymore after getting Marshmallow Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  16. Also wondering about Alaska. My parents are vacationing there in August and I was trying to figure out what they could do for calls / texts. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  17. Still have issues with Google Messenger...tweeted at Mo Versi and got no response Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  18. Trying to decide if the humming noise when the screen is dim, has gone away. I really can't tell. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  19. Currently downloading! Thanks for the tip off! Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  20. Well HTC said they support all new phones with updates for 2 years. I haven't heard them break away from that. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  21. That's really odd. I did not have that issue with my One E8 with Google Messenger. I've really gotten used to that app! Especially like the floating replies ... HTC app does not do that! Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk

  23. I am using Google Messenger, but I think it also happens with the stock app. I have used Google Messenger for a year with another phone and it was fine Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  24. Anyone else have issues with sending screen shots, or other large photos in a text? They get too compressed and are blurry when the sender opens them. (or when I view what was sent). I had this problem with another HTC phone I had once and it got corrected with an update. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
