I have a friend witha SGIII and he's getting LTE pretty consistently in Peabody. I'm in the Lawrence/Methuen/Haverhill area and I've never gotten an LTE signal, but have been seeing eHRPD for months.

I was getting an eHRPD signal all around Haverhill, Methuen, Lawrence for weeks, Last few days only EVDO rev A. A sign of anything in particular? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks for the suggestion. For some reason, the Play Store is saying that CDMA Field Test is not compatible with my Sprint Galaxy Nexus? It will, however, let me load it on my Toshiba Thrive Tablet, so I guess I can locate the .apk and sideload it on my Nexus and give it a shot. Was not aware of privacy issues with Netmonitor, so thanks for the head's up.

I'm not sure, as I just began to use Netmonitor and that was the first reading I got. The tower readings seem to show EvDo rev.A (Sprint) when they're not showing eHRPD, if that helps.

I've been seeing that in the Haverhill area, too, for a week or so.

I'm seeing eHRPD in Haverhill, MA, but no speed increases on my 3G or live LTE yet.
