Hello! I live very close to Brown in Providence and am wondering about the state of my service. Am I the only one experiencing all these issues with non-working data? For example, I was at Providence Place last night and was trying to show my friends Siri. My phone said LTE on it, but I got no data whatsoever. Nothing worked. I tried turning off LTE, etc. Nothing. I didn't get working data until I went down a few blocks towards Dunkin Donuts center. then this morning, I was at home and had the same issues. I've been driving around Providence all day and the max I've seen on LTE has been about 8-9 mbps. Where's all those 20+ mbps speeds I've seen online here!?

Man, I can only dream about speeds like that on Sprint!. Even more than 5 mbps down would be awesome honestly! Which phones support this new band? Does a verizon 5S support it?

Hello! Oh please. Spare me the drama. If I "hated" Sprint, I wouldn't have had service with them for almost 10 years now. I'm getting fed up with my data service not working and empty promises of improvement. That's what I hate right now.

What is this VZW AWS LTE? Is it fast? I read on here that Sprint's LTE is faster. is that true? -Marc

Thanks for the reply! Why is it taking so long for Sprint? Didn't TMobile just start deploying a few months ago? How are they already done? I'm not sure this is correct, my friend. According to this (http://www.rootmetrics.com/methodology/), they actually go to all the areas and test it themselves. The test was for the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT), so it isn't just the inner city "Where T-Mobile regions supreme"

Hello! Oh yes, you are quite correct. My gf has VZW and her service is fantastic. Even on one bar, her service is quite reliable! I have an AT&T MiFi from work and it has never let me down! I used to connect it to my iPhone 4S when I travel because my "3G" connection never really worked!

Hello everyone! I was reading more about the softbank take overs. Since they are lighting a fire under them, does that mean that they will be paying for new people to upgrade the equipment? Reading on here, it looks like they are hopelessly delaying everything.

Hello! I wish I could believe this. My gf lives in Long Island and with my iPhone 4S (just got a 5S), I had abysmal service. I tried to do some research about this and found this: http://www.rootmetrics.com/compare-carriers/united-states/new-york/new-york-city-and-tri-state-area-november-2013/ We have the lowest data speeds, network reliability, call, and text reliability in the whole tri-state region.
