  1. Go direct to LG. They're doing RMAs for this issue.
  2. I wouldn't mind throwing some of my expertise towards the app. I have worked with Android for several years now. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  3. Not looking good for T-Mo's 2017 deployment plans Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  4. I know markets are getting new equipment for B66, namely new Ericsson AIR units. I think marketing may be jumping the gun with saying the spectrum is "on air" which is why it's intentionally vague. There's no way to fact check them because there are no handsets out in the wild that support B66.
  5. T-Mobile announced that they have B66 on air. The question is where? Extremely vague press release. https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news-and-blogs/lg-v20-pre-sale.htm
  6. At the zoo with friends today and they are all complaining about their Verizon service not working well. Sprint is doing extremely well and I've had no issues. It's really great to see how far they've come in the past few years. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  7. According to Guenther, Sprint is working on making Sprint Zone available on the Play Store https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/comments/52fvz7/ama_hi_im_guenther/d83cn1i?context=1
  8. Unlocked versions from Google will more than likely have unlockable bootloaders. Only the Verizon sold ones will have locked bootloaders. There are no more Nexus devices planned https://twitter.com/googlenexus/status/783374887050240000 Secure Boot (actually called Verified Boot) is only a problem when the bootloader is locked. Unlocked devices just show a warning message on startup.
  9. This ad aired concurrently on major networks (FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN) during Monday night football.
  10. Higher order MIMO does bring performance improvement because it improves race to idle, which means that resource blocks are more quickly freed for other devices to use. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  11. Worldwide, not just the US. My bets are on an Asian country. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  12. Whoever told you it wasn't possible was misinformed. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  13. It'll bring more benefit once the majority of devices can utilize it. The S7 and S7 edge probably don't make up the majority on the network, so initial benefits will be limited. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  14. No. Physics doesn't change just because it's TDD. It's even worse in B41 TDD because the phone is transmitting on the same frequency as it is receiving on. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  15. The cell range is mostly limited by the uplink power of the phone. Once uplink fails, the phone cannot stay on B41 anymore. CA can't improve on this aspect since at this point it's downlink only, so there isn't a change in coverage from a sq. miles perspective. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  16. On second look I can't find anything. It must've been on another device. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  17. I'm pretty sure Tim has roamed on USCC LTE with his 5X. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  18. That's expected. There's only one hardware variant of the Note 7 in the US. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  19. iFixit's teardown is up today and it doesn't appear to me that the Note 7 has 4x4MIMO support. I only spot two antennas in this teardown photo. https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/igi/j6ZbRieCZbyg1jb2.huge Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  20. Here come the merger rumors again http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-17/sprint-owner-is-said-to-still-hold-out-hope-for-a-t-mobile-deal
  21. Oops didn't see OP's location and assumed IBEZ. You're correct this doesn't impact LA. I think earliest I've heard for SBC rebranding completion is mid 2017. Don't quote me on that. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  22. Probably not for a while with this new setback http://www.radioresourcemag.com/Features/FeaturesDetails/FID/684
  23. That's what happens when you spend very little in network capex for a whole quarter. What's interesting is that they tied with T-Mobile in all categories and Verizon/AT&T fought over 1st and 2nd.
  24. Every time I see 192KHz/24bit I just point people here: https://xiph.org/~xiphmont/demo/neil-young.html The long and short of it is that there's no point. The quoting of SNR and THD+N numbers is just pure marketing. All DACs in today's age have more than acceptable performance.
