  1. I would like to know how the speed and coverage will be when the Daytona 500 happens next year! I hope it's an marked improvement for the NASCAR fans and Daytona residents. :-)
  2. Since my connection to the Internet for my laptop is from Sprint, I am waiting also for a connection card that will have the triband LTE ability. I probably understand why it took so long because the fight for Clearwire.
  3. I also have a Sprint HTC 4G LTE, and I notice that it comes and goes between 3G and 4G, where I am, also. This is very disappointing considering that when the phone came out it was supposed to be specifically for 4G LTE experience.
  4. While heading to work today on Highway 153 in Hixson, TN, I noticed north of Northgate Mall that I had 4G LTE coverage to my surprise. Even while I arrived at work, I had the same coverage. I had a speedtest of: My Speedtest result in Hixson for Sprint (LTE) : 7.92 Mb/s (download) & 2.40 Mb/s (upload) via #sensorly On the way home from work, I noticed that it covered till Amnicola Hwy. I am pleased that finally it has arrived, however, I'm hoping that the coverage will reach my home, which is near the airport. :-)
  5. Thank you for your reply. I was wondering about that. I hope that doesn't happen when the market launches. ;-)
  6. I have traveled to the sites on Sensorly in the Chattanooga area and I did not get any LTE signals at all. Of course, it was during the afternoon. But still no signal. Is there any reason why it shows up on Sensorly and really when I physically go to these areas? I recorded a LTE signal when the first sighting of 4G in Chattanooga, but not since then. ...
  7. Thank you all for the details and the area where there was signs of 4G in Chattanooga. I decided to visit the sight at McCallie & Spruce mid-afternoon. The speeds were intermittent, at best. I did a speedtest and received 2.00 Mbps download and .10 Mbps, the best out of the few that I tried. I realize with all the Network Vision improvements, it'll be a while before we have any consistent speed from Sprint. I hope it is quicker than I anticipate.
  8. I am just wondering where you are noticing LTE in Chattanooga, please.
  9. Robert, thank you again for your prompt reply. I sense that you reply faster than the Sprint representatives when any one of the customers use *2 on their phone. I appreciate the update, and the full explanation of the process of what the network is doing to get the 4G coverage.
  10. Robert, thank you for the reply and the information. I appreciate it. Being a loyal customer of Sprint (I have had been with them since October 1998), I guess it's one of those situations when I have been waiting for them to upgrade its network for many, many years, as their competitors has already upgraded their network. My patience is getting worn too thin. Furthermore, I have traveled twice after the rollout to Atlanta, and I don't see consistent 4G coverage throughout the city. More often, there isn't coverage than there is.
  11. Earlier today on Fox Business, the Chattanooga mayor was on about how our city is really high tech with one of the fastest Internet connection in the state with EPB. It's hard to believe that because Sprint still hasn't been able to get 4G service to the area. That is really sad.
  12. I am anxiously awaiting the announcement of when Chattanooga will launch 4G services. I have been waiting since I purchased my HTC EVO 4G phone.
