  1. I hear you Brother. My circumstances changed where I currently have good LTE in Savannah but I now rely on Comcast Wi-Fi at home and barely use my phone data plan. A long commute was my main reason for needing fast LTE. Not an issue anymore but still sad that Sprint has taken so long. .It has improved overall but I really don't think that is a good excuse (since 2013). Right now I am content.
  2. On ZVH. Did a profile update on Boost Mobile and all my home screen stuff changed. A lot of changes. Weird but the phone runs better.
  3. It turned out that his phone and SIM were fine. After a week he got a supervisor who activated it over the phone.
  4. A friend just got the G2. They would not activate it over the phone. He had to go to a Boost store. They couldn't get it activated with data. They ordered a Boost SIM to replace the Sprint SIM. Mine got activated over the phone 2 months ago with only a little guff from the rep. What is up with this? We both bought Sprint G2 from Best Buy.
  5. I have had a few strangeg glitches with GPS on some Google Now Cards but usually it is right on the money.
  6. 2013 flagship. Snapdragon 800 still holds up. It can be activated on Boost Mobile. Good battery life. Great screen.
  7. http://m.pocketnow.com/2015/07/04/lg-g2-android-lollipop And Best Buy has the Sprint version of the LG G2 for $150. Lollipop 5.0.2 with a probable update to 5.1.1
  8. Well I should have upgraded phones a little sooner. I have been using a Samsung Galaxy S3 for 2 years with mixed results on LTE in Savannah. I just bought a Sprint LG G2 and activated it on Boost Mobile. I am getting LTE almost everywhere almost all the time including my house. Great job Sprint! This network rocks in Savannah. Apparently there is a big difference in the radios between the two phones. Is Triband the same as Spark? I didn't think Savannah had either one.
  9. Stumbled upon this. LTE is officially launched in Savannah. Where it works, it is wonderful. But, there are still many spots with 3g only. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/4glte-launchedmarkets.htm
  10. Strange coincidence, but LTE just kicked in at my house. Thank you Sprint.
  11. Savannah LTE is still hit or miss feast or famine. Garden City is for the most part FAST LTE along Highway 21. GREAT download speeds. Unfortunately, my house is in a 3g zone between 2 LTEs. Lots of trees, maybe it will get better this Winter like it was at the first of the year. But, I must say that 3g speeds are much improved over a year ago. Possibly from the load going to LTE. Overall the network upgrades have been great compared to a year ago.
  12. What is the word on "official" LTE completion for Savanah, GA. Not even going to think about Spark.
  13. In Savanah, it almost seems like they were testing LTE for a while and then recently they have backed off on it in many areas. It is still on several places, but rarely at my house. It was constant LTE at my home for a few weeks. A mile down the highway, it is still constant in a different tower.
  14. Highway 21, Garden City outside Carey Hilliards Restaurant this morning. 1 mile from my house. The best I have seen so far in Savannah.
