Band 2 on T-Mobile got expanded to 15MHz. That means that they officially poached 5MHz of Sprint's PCS B spectrum to do this, leaving Sprint with a contiguous 10MHz in PCS-B and the PCS-G block.

Not yet in LES here. I disabled band 25, 26 and 41 on Note 9 to force roaming to T-mobile. Still 10MHz on B2 for T mobile, 20Mhz on Band 66 and 5 Mhz on Band 12. When roaming at peak hour, speed drop to 50 Mbps down and 35 Mbps up. Off peak 200 down and 60 up vs. 260 down and 10 up on band 41. Still have band 41 LTE. And no band 71 around here.

I think it connected the pico cell second carrier of 15 MHz bandwidth due similarity with same EARFCN 40142 in financial district.

  3. I can list all the M-MIMO that I found and already been live,

16 Beaver Street, at the top of Burger King building

55 Broad Street, at the second deck of the building

62 William Street, at the top building

155 East Broadway, at the top of building complex water tower

72 Allen Street, at the top of TD Bank building

168 Bowery, at the top of the building

    and also Pace University.

  4. Look like another M-MIMO antenna added at East 14th Street and 2nd Avenue, above the IHOP Restaurant building. The mini macro is still there and it is live pulling 167 down and 14 up at 12:30 PM. Sprint replacing 8T8R and mini mac for M-MIMO build so fast in Manhattan, some of them leave 8T8R and mini macro antenna up there.

Something really interesting just happened north of 170th st. EARFCN just got pushed up from 41078/41276 to 41292/41490. This could signal the deployment of a third carrier finally coming.

This would be huge considering this affects everything north of 170th street (in the Bronx, Manhattan, Yonkers, Scarsdale etc) are currently limited to just two B41 carriers.

So be on the lookout for the third carrier north of 170th st.

Yes, they also push to 41094, 41292, 41490 in Lower Manhattan too.

  6. I have a question, does M-MIMO required to be next to 8x8 Antenna or can it be by itself? If it can by itself that mean, the M-MIMO on the Chase Bank Building at Water Street and Maiden Ln. is broadcasting with different GCI and removed the 8x8 Antenna. The GCI currently act like 3 sector Mini Macro GCI, MM, MM^2 and Sprint 41^3 on SignalCheck Pro, speed is 120 down and 8 up at 2:40 PM.

  7. Look like my home tower malfunction, it won't register to the tower and suddenly no phone service at all, and then back online but no data. Yesterday ran speed test it only 60 down and 6 up on 3xCA, woke up today with no service. Data only work for 30 seconds before it went no data.

Edit: Now it back online, probably it went under maintaince for like 2 hours, from 4:30 AM to 6:30 AM

Nope this was only broadcasting band 25 and 26 1.5 years ago, and then they added 8T8R alcatel band 41, then 2 week ago installed MUMIMO.

Omg yay I think MUMIMO is active. I finally got a better signal now -98 RSRP on band 41 vs dropping to band 25 with same RSRP before in while sitting the same area. Using s7 edge. Did speedtest 92 down and 6 up vs. 33 down and 1 up on -116 RSRP band 41 before. From my previous post, -96 RSRP standing next to my room door vs now -86 RSRP signal in same area. Now it won't drop to band 25 anymore at home.

Look like Sprint turned off completely my home tower aka with MUMIMO installed causing my phone to roam AT&T B12, B2. I can't report to My Sprint App when I submit a network problem the App crashed. I can connect on Single band 41 Clearwire on 98 Madison Street just barely holding -110 RSRP next to my room door when I just go in the middle of the room it gone. No Band 25 and 26 in my apartment. The Site ID that is currently down, NY04XC809.

So far At&t have 10x10 Mhz of band 12 and 10x10 Mhz of band 2.

It look like it back online again.
